This was my first time using a bulky yarn and I only had a 10.5, 32" Addi Turbo needle. This became too incovenant and frustrating with a too long a cord!Reason for the purchase of the 24 inch. I love the Skacel, Addi Turbo needles and don't use any other kind.In the process of hunting over the internet, I discovered that Filory Yarn was the only store, that carried the 10.5, 24", apparently I was not the only one wanting that size in the Skacel line in the wee hours of that night!Thank you ,Fond Regards,Anita Rishell

I am using these needles to knit my third cable-knit afghan in the past 10 months. These needles are smooth, fast, feel great, and are far superior to the less expensive bamboo needles I used for the first 1-1/2 afghans (and which ended up coming apart). I knit much faster with these needles. They are well worth the extra initial cost. (And how can you go wrong with a lifetime guarantee?)

I had read reviews of the Addi Turbo needles, but to be honest I thought, "Knitting needles are knitting needles, how good can they be?" The answer: Very, very good. And surprisingly, the quality of the tools you use really does improve the quality of the product you produce. If for no other reason than it changes how you think about what you're making. When you use really good needles and really good wool, you're much more invested in the finished product and willing to go back and correct mistakes. When the tools you're using make the creation of the article that much more enjoyable, you're much more likely to work on it, rather than getting bored and setting it aside. The join between the cable and the needles is ideal with a smooth connection and a long taper which allows the stitches to move gradually up the needle rather than abruptly shifting from a narrow cable to a thick needle. In short, I LOVE these needles. They are worth every penny spent and I can't wait to teach my daughter with them and eventually pass them down to her.

The best needles I've ever worked with. I've been using KnitPro, HyiaHyia and Chiagoo for years but from now on will change to Addi made of brass. They are excellent!

My first time knitting’s with circular needles. I found them easy to use once I got the hang of them. Just don’t let the stitches get too tight so they can get back over the chunky needle ends. I was using big ones!

I love these circular knitting needles. Very smooth and easy to use. I don’t have to worry about them becoming detached as they are fixed in place. Perfect for knitting a baby cot blanket and I am using them instead of single pointed needles to ensure the stitched aren’t too bunched.

Never ever worked with circular needles before but I found the Addi needles light, strong and a very smooth transition between join from needle to wire. Definitely recommend for knitting projects.

not as pointed

I am somewhat new to knitting, have been using Harmony wood needles which are sharper and I like that. I needed a new size for new project. A couple of my harmony needles have caused me trouble as they "snag" where the needles and cable connect. I can live with it but wanted to try the Addi brand. I am finishing a pair of socks today using two Addi 16" needles. (2 socks at once on 2 circular needles)I love how the yarn glides on these needles verses the resistance of wood ones. There is a VERY SLIGHT grab point on one end of one needle. Very slight. I prefer a sharper point but like the light weight feel and way the yarn slides smoothly on these. I will buy this brand of needle again as it went very well.
