This was my first time using a bulky yarn and I only had a 10.5, 32" Addi Turbo needle. This became too incovenant and frustrating with a too long a cord!Reason for the purchase of the 24 inch. I love the Skacel, Addi Turbo needles and don't use any other kind.In the process of hunting over the internet, I discovered that Filory Yarn was the only store, that carried the 10.5, 24", apparently I was not the only one wanting that size in the Skacel line in the wee hours of that night!Thank you ,Fond Regards,Anita Rishell

As an avid knitter, I appreciate having good knitting accessories and tools. After tolerating inexpensive needles for decades, I finally invested in a basic "stash" of Addi 16 inch circular needles and regret not doing so years ago. I love the ease of attacking stitches and the speed of having the yarn slide across the needles. The time it takes to make hats is substantially reduced.

Used both for knitting in the round and where straight needles would work. As is my experience with many other Addi fixed circular needles, the joint between tips and the cable is very smooth, never snags.Yarn slides easily on the tips. I appreciate the label on the cable that specifies needle size and length. This is particularly helpful for needles such as 3.00 mm (2 1/2 US) that are not standard US whole number sizes and thus can't be accurately measured with the usual gauge guides.

I have used Skacel Addi circulars for the last 15 years out of my 45 years of knitting. For socks, mittens, sleeves, any two at a time project....they are my go-to needles, and I have purchased at least 20 needles over the years. They are the best value, as they are sturdy, have a long life, and available with good points. I have almost worn out one 60" 4 mm but only because the cord is a little bent. Never had an Addi break on me! There may have been 1, at the most, 2 , Addis with joints that were not entirely smooth... Still, it's not bad considering the time I spend knitting and a volume of articles I knit. 40" it's a perfect length for my needs, although for lace shawls, a 60 " is very nice. I always have at least one Project with an Addi the go at any given ... MoreI have used Skacel Addi circulars for the last 15 years out of my 45 years of knitting. Love Addi needles. Needed 2 sizes to finish a project; and Webs had the needles in stock! So it was a win-win! I have several different brands of needles, but my favorite is Addi. I would buy this brand first, and am very pleased that Webs carries Addi's in multiple sizes and lengths
Purchased this item in US #1 size to knit my first pair of socks using the Magic Loop method. I never thought I would knit socks, but I'm now finishing up my second pair. The 40" Addi Rocket worked really well for me. I would recommend highly recommend.
I do a lot of volunteer knitting, hats for the homeless, the preemie project, special Olympics, and have had trouble finding small sized 16" needles. Saw the turbo on line and ordered 4and 5. So glad I did, these needles just glide through the yarn, I love them, wish I had them in all sizes. Thinking about replacing my old worn out Susan Bates (my previous favorite) with turbos. Love them!! Peg H
I've used the Addi Turbo needles for a long time, and the Rocket was an upgrade for me. They're sharp without poking your fingers and the yarn doesn't drag on the needle at all. The flip side of that is that if you're starting a new row with only a couple of stitches in place, the needle will fall out (sometimes you have to take your hand off to rub your nose or change the channel, right?) No big deal - I'm a huge fan.
I use this product like it were a straight needle, and thus like the longer needle tip.The not quite circular shape of the needle, makes it slightly easier to handle. The blunt rounded tips are a good aspect for my partly depressed soul - hate to have sharp items in close proximity for long periods of time.
I like these needles better than any others I've tried. I don't use bamboo or plastic because they are too slow. These are fast enough, and have two different degrees of pointiness. The turbos are find for most work and for cables, while the turbo rockets have sharper, longer points and can't be used as well on yarns that have much capacity for splitting. I have used many of these needles for several years, and I've never had any problems with detachment of the cable, as I have with other brands. The juncture of the needle and the cord is also very smooth, which for me is a must. I can't stand when a knitting needle snags or binds the yarn on the connector between the needle and cable, and I've never had any of that sort of difficulty with ADDI needles. The only ... MoreI like these needles better than any others I've tried. I can't stand when a knitting needle snags or binds the yarn on the connector between the needle and cable, and I've never had any of that sort of difficulty with ADDI needles. The only reason I give these a 4 rather than a 5-star rating is that about 5% of the needles I own were found to be defective, either because the chrome plating was chipping at the tip of the needle and slightly rough or because the cable was kinked within the package. I'm sure the seller would have replaced the defective needles, but I bought the defective ones on a road trip and needed to use them despite the defects. 5% defect rate is still much less than the defect rate of other brands, and even with the defects the ADDI needles perform well. Therefore, they are still my favorite brand. Nonetheless, it's probably a good idea to inspect them carefully in the store before purchase or immediately upon opening...but isn't that true of just about anything? I want to be clear that these problems existed at the outset, and all of my ADDI needles have performed without developing any problems in use. I really love these needles!!
