The Boston Marathon is a race. But it's also a goal, and a training plan and all the days it stays on your mind before the big one. The Adizero Boston 11 Shoes are built for mid- to long-distance running. They bring a race-day feel to training with a propulsive feel that comes from ENERGYRODS, which limit energy loss underfoot. They're fast, but that does not come at the cost of durability — the midsole mixes ultra-light Lightstrike Pro cushioning with durable Lightstrike EVA.

I’ve been a runner for years and never gave Adidas a chance until recently. I’m a convert. The Boston 11s are a great everyday shoe which are fun to run in. There is a break-in period. Out of the box, they are stiff and you may need to run in them for approx 40kms or so before they start to hug your feet in the right places but after that, they are great! The shoe is pretty light as well (for a non CP shoe). I really enjoy these shoes. Worth putting in your every day running shoe rotation. I love mine!

Love these as a running training shoe. Wouldn't recommend this shoe for walking. This model still has springy rods in the sole, but they are made of fiberglas rather than carbon fiber. They still give lots of cushioning to make running easier on your joints. It also has a more substantial rubber sole compared to the Adizero Adios Pro, so it is a slightly heavier shoe which will last longer for training use. I would buy them again.

I really wanted to love these. They are a really nice looking pair of shoes, but this is about where they stop. I have semi-flat feet, and I get blisters if I run over 2 miles in these shoes. When I tighten them enough to avoid blisters I end up running on the lateral side of my foot which also leads to pain. If you're looking for a shoe to walk in, maybe it would be okay to go with these, for anything more intense, probably look for something that is more form fitting.

I had an old pair of Boston 7s that I was trying to upgrade as they were getting pretty worn. The Boston 11’s are a heavier shoe with much more rocker. I think the design changed around Boston 9’s. I didn’t like them as much so I returned them.
Snug width but roomy, aerated toe box. Springy in the step and have only worn on the treadmill so far for tempo runs - was tough to slow up for the cooldown bc the shoe seems to want you to just GO.
Reading the reviews online, I had high hopes for this shoe. But the cushioning is lacking and it doesn't feel good under the foot.
Tried these shoes for ~50 miles. The support was unbelievable, really great. But the top came up so high that it pinched and rubbed on my ankle causing extreme pain at the achilles tendon. If there were cushioning at the ankle I would have kept these. If you don't have sensitive ankles then I would 10/10 recommend.
I received a used pair of shoes. The bottom sole had visible dirt and had looked like someone had worn them for 10+ miles outside. I tried them on but the heel was very stiff and dug into me heel. It would have definitely cut my heel or even caused blisters.
I initially purchased the Adistar Road Running Shoe and they fit. These Boston 11's do not fit and are super narrow and small. I did not see an option to increase the width. I returned them but the quality and color are great.
Very firm shoe with a snappy feel. A bit hard to get used to initially. Roomy toe box, and looks good!
