Because the model is unisex I based my order on the size in cm rather than the EU size. It turns out I should have ordered half a size down. My foot is narrow and the shoes are a bit too long but the fit in the midfoot and in the heel, when tightly laced, is snug and secure. In this way the extra length does not bother me. The ride is on the firm side but responsive. I really like the grip, how light and agile the shoe is. It does not propel you but your foot does not sink in and the sensation for me is that when I get tired towards the end of the run the shoe helps me to continue turning my legs over. Only issue I have is with some light rubbing on the inside of my right foot, midfoot area. It's a great shoe and I feel excited running with it.

Way better than the version 7 , Adidas really have upped their game here and are every bit on a par with Nike for super shoes now. My only hesitation with the Taksumi is whether its worth paying the extra ÂŁ50 and getting the Adizero Pro 3 which is a level up again. This one better for 5k and under

These shoes are incredibly light and the carbon rods give you a subtle nudge forwards with each step. My very first run knocked 30 seconds off my previous 5K PB. The fit is quite snug, but the lockdown is great and they’re pretty comfortable too, for a racing shoe. Really pleased with these.

This shoe has met all of my expectations. Fast and responsive. Improved my personal best times for both 5K and 10K distance. Light weight and comfortable. Great looking. Terrific shoe.
I’ve haven’t done 50 miles in the shoes yet but enjoying them. They are very light and fast. They are a bit narrow and laces are a bit fiddly. Perfect for intervals and km/mile repeats. This is my first experience with adidas and lightstrike pro. It does feel firmer than other brands. I wouldn’t take these any further than a 10k. I want more cushion for a half marathon
These shoes are fast and responsive. The upper is light and fitting. Traction is not a problem with the Continental rubber gripping well. The mid-sole provides adequate energy return with the help from the energy rods within. An all round fast shoe for 5 - 10 k races, maybe for a half if you get through it in under 90 minutes
Only taken them out on two runs so far, so a bit too early to tell, they are snug. I am kind of wishing I had gone half a size up .. but as they will never really go over 8 miles in one go can live with it, light and nimble. I look forward to the journey ahead with the shoe. One thing I can advise is the outsole is great in damp conditions (a problem I find with Saucony and Altra's when it gets wet)
Quite a tight fit initially but the shoe soon stretched to form a comfortable fit. Extremely lightweight shoe. Lightstrike Pro foam is excellent. Great, springy feel underfoot too.
These are more like old style racing flats. So you can feel the road & therefore there’s good stability. Ideal for twisty tempos or tight courses. Maybe not as fast as various Nike options
Really comfortable shoes once you're able to get them on, they can be a challenge. Listened to some reviews and went a half size down, wish I had not. Really enjoy the feel and return they give, but the materials are very flimsy so they can be tough to put on, lace-up and you must wear socks with them for a few reasons (they are sheer and will give you a blister in the toe area).
