The Boston Marathon is a race. But it's also a goal, and a training plan and all the days it stays on your mind before the big one. The Adizero Boston 11 Shoes are built for mid- to long-distance running. They bring a race-day feel to training with a propulsive feel that comes from ENERGYRODS, which limit energy loss underfoot. They're fast, but that does not come at the cost of durability — the midsole mixes ultralight Lightstrike Pro cushioning with durable Lightstrike EVA.

Awesome shoe great fit Tur to size. Had not run in Adidas for many years and so glad I bought these Been using them as a every day trainer running 7km to 15km with no dramas. Have about 70kms in them so far with no show of wear. Great colour way.

Once broken in, these shoes have what you want as far as specs, but after 6 months the mesh webbing on one shoe started to get a tear. Not sure if this was a defect as the other shoe looked fine, but had to return the shoes. The carbon fiber on the sole does provide some energy back but at the cost of a stiffer run. I also play soccer and feet can take a beating, but these shoes weren't as comfortable as other competitors unfortunately.

I've been running in adidas bostons since the 6 and these are my least favourite. Heavy, chunky and a sloppy toe box. I wear a size 10 adidas everything, but these I wonder if I should have sized down by a half. I'm hunting for another everyday runner now.

Purchased 2 pairs @$47.83 each. Factory fresh. Broken in one pair with 3 miles on the treadmill after work. Tips: loosen up the laces a lot to fit feet under sewn in shoe tongues, use only second to last lace holes, pull back shoe tongues fully: no pain from restrictive shoe tongues. Purchased another 2 pairs, new but were had slight stains on soles and one lace (store demos?); function unaffected. These shoes feel comfortable and has good cushioning to prevent joint pain. Energy return/rebound/bounce is alright but not as good as my Adios Pro 3s. YMMV.
These shoes have great stability. They are a bit stiff at first but soften up after a few long runs. Good tool for fast and slow training runs. They run a half size large. Usually wear a 10 but needed a 9.5 in these.
Great rolling 'feel' to these, the traction is even and solid. Upper super lightweight but supportive, heel clasp nice and true. Some reviews have cited the tongue as an issue, but I don't find anything amiss. The ride is a little 'firm' at first, so I have found some patience with some 10k investment to make them feel as plush as they look. Distance-wise, light enough for fast 10k but certainly durable enough for a half. Or maybe further...
Lasted 3 months, 120k before the sides on both shoes ripped apart. Have had adidas shoes for years and never worn out the uppers before the soles before, let alone after such a short time. Not great quality.Unfortunately didn't think to keep the receipt as previously had good experiences with the Boston 8 and Boston 10.
I saw these trainers and wanted them the day I saw them. They were cheaper on the Sports Direct site, than the Adidas site. I bought them and love them. They actually arrived a couple of days early. Really light and comfortable footwear.
I bought these trainers as part of my half marathon training block and they are a great firm and stable option. The rocker is great and the grip from the soles is unparalleled. These trainers were a replacement for my ASICS Glide Ride 3s, which were plush in comparison. The Boston 11 gives me more options than just a longer run shoe in comparison.
The latest Boston iteration is a really great shoe. Stabilising. They have altered the fabrications somewhat and it might take maybe a week or two to get used to but after that, it’s smooth sailing. Highly recommended.
