One of the confusing things about buying shoes is exactly how they'll fit. The "shape" (not size) of a shoe is called the last. Clearly, Adidas and Nike are using different lasts for most of their shoes, with Nike being a little narrower, and Adidas having more room in the toe box and across the widest part of the foot. The Tiempo fits a little different than most Nikes though, closer to Adidas, or in between. If you find Nike to be a bit narrow, try this one.Other than that, this is clearly a quality shoe which you can tell on the first fitting. The textured outsole seems to be a bit gimmicky, but it's a personal preference thing. If this fits, I can't find anything to criticize really.

I am a person who has a wide foot and was used to wearing mercurial vapors, intended for people with narrow feet. So once I ordered the tiempos, knowing that were leather, I felt as though my foot was be fine as it the boot would mould to foot. So far it’s been fantastic, after over 2 weeks of training with them, they fit like a glove and can’t be happier with my purchase. I ordered a size .5 below and it’s been quite the fit to my foot. Highly recommend for those with wider feet, as well as someone who is tired of synthetic cleats ripping on them.

My daughter plays at an elite level of soccer and goes through cleats like butter. She was running Copa's for a couple years but was a Nike purist but they just didn't fit until you intro'd the Tiempo Legend Elite. She loves the shoe and has went through several pair, her comments great fit, great touch, could use a slight improvement in the drop in sock liner, thin and not very durable, goes right though it. Loves the colors and designs of you synthetic uppers but the problem with those is they either fit your foot or they don't and not a lot of room in between. Loves the kangaroo upper of the TLE, her only request is can you put them on the customs site? Or update colors more often in-line, loves a basic with a little pop, not an all over in your face bright kind ... MoreMy daughter plays at an elite level of soccer and goes through cleats like butter. The boot as a whole is fantastic, great touch, great fit, etc. But the only real problem I had was the heel. It's almost too plush. I've worn the cleats everyday now for almost a month and it doesn't seem like they've broken in at all on the lining of the heel. I had the Tiempo Legend 7 Pro's for about 7 months and absolutely loved them. The minimalistic lining provided a lockdown fit with supreme comfort. But it's almost like these ones are trying too hard. Other than that, they fit well, perform well, and look great.
I have a wide foot so the boot feels tight on my foot, but length wise they fit perfect. I was really excited for these boots and was very pleased when I got them. They're really light weight and the pattern does not disrupt your touch. I cannot wear them tied which is frustrating, but not a problem. Only problem I have is I have only worn them for a month and the leather is already splitting and ripping on the front of the boot not even just the side where the plastic connects. This is extremely upsetting and frustrating considering the amount of money I have spent on these and this has never happened to another pair of boots I have had and I only wear leather. Still usable, but falling apart after only a month of use and I was not planning on buying another pair ... MoreI have a wide foot so the boot feels tight on my foot, but length wise they fit perfect. Just reminds me why I do not normally buy Nike boots.
Well built shoe. Lot like the Magista Ibra of old. Solid foundation to the shoe. Outer seams are well built. Cleat pattern is comfortable on the fore foot. Small sock liner helps with stopping heel slip. Kangaroo leather allows for some moldability around the foot. Lace pattern is comfortable. Overall good feel on the ball.
Have bought tech craft K-leather boots from Nike for a decade. First time the k-leather stretched beyond usability after just 2 wears. Went down a full size but have stretched beyond the sole plate so much they are essentially a size TOO BIG now. Too much visible wear to be allowed a return. Unlike previous Tiempos these appear to not have a internal structure that provides any rigidity to the shape. Will hopefully find a teammate with bigger feet that can sell to but looking at large $ loss regardless. BTW Nike refused to accept back as “defective”.
I had the Tiempo Legend 7 Elite in a size 9.5. It was known with the Legend 7 that you had to go half a size up from your normal size for the best fit as they ran 1/2 a size small. However, after ordering these Legend 8 in 9.5 I was surprised to find that they fit larger than the 7s in the same size. I returned and got a size 9 instead and they fit better. With this in mind, I disagree with the other review, and would add that these actually run true to your normal soccer shoe size. On a final note, the quality of the boots is fantastic. Soft and supple leather upper and the fit has been improved from the Legend 7.
I loved these boots the first times I used them. They are light, comfortable and work well. However, the eyelets are so cheaply made (not reinforced) that I ripped through three of the four while lacing up within the first five times using them. Guys on my club had the same issue. I like my boots tight but you have to be super careful with these, otherwise you will rip right through the eyelets. For ~$200, they could really reinforce the top eyelets so they don't rip.
