A skateboarding version of the classic adidas Gazelle sneakers, these shoes have higher foxing tape and a super grippy outsole. A double-layered toe adds durability, while a moulded sockliner offers an elevated fit.

Ive been wearing Adidas Gazelles in size 12 for almost 20 years. I ordered these ADV Gazelles and noted instantly that these have an even lower profile/silhouette that fit closer than the regular Adidas Gazelles. I skate, the adituff layer Adidas uses is an ollie pad*- Adidas puts it in between the upper and the inside of the shoe fabric instead of the top of the shoe for grip tape friction durability. It works, I can't recommend this enough for skateboarding. The soles on these arent too thin like Van's or ES Accel slims, your heels and the ball of your foot are going to feel support. I also have Adidas Busenitz. Theres something about the thinness of the ADV Gazelle that skates better, how its less bulky. Wearing a size 12, when I took the shoe out if the box, it looked like it was going be too small, not the case, plus the soles have the boardfeel I never found with other skateboarding shoes. They're made of suede; not canvas. They'll hold up the longest for skateboarding. I hope the ADV Gazelle never gets discontinued. Only thing I'd change and it's minor, is the color of the sole , it could be a little brighter, it's more of an off white, almost beige. The toebox is slightly pointed for flip tricks. This shoe also doesn't feel too snug around the sides of your instep, the way other skate shoes feel, they're cramped in that area, not these. Get these ADV Gazelles and you'll be impressed with the way they fit and their durability fir your skateboard
