In the '90s, street skaters sought out the Gazelle for its clean design and slimmed-down feel. Building on the soul of the beloved shoe, the Gazelle ADV Shoes add thicker foxing tape, enhanced Geoflex outsole, and a modified toe construction with two layers of protection where your flick needs it most.

One of my favorite shoes. Find also the silhouette mega beautiful. Pull the shoe but not for skating. Only for freetime if I'm honest. Nevertheless, to recommend in any case.

Ive been wearing Adidas Gazelles in size 12 for almost 20 years. I ordered these ADV Gazelles and noted instantly that these have an even lower profile/silhouette that fit closer than the regular Adidas Gazelles. I skate, the adituff layer Adidas uses is an ollie pad*- Adidas puts it in between the upper and the inside of the shoe fabric instead of the top of the shoe for grip tape friction durability. It works, I can't recommend this enough for skateboarding. The soles on these arent too thin like Van's or ES Accel slims, your heels and the ball of your foot are going to feel support. I also have Adidas Busenitz. Theres something about the thinness of the ADV Gazelle that skates better, how its less bulky. I also have Adidas Busenitz. Theres something about the thinness of the ADV Gazelle that skates better, how its less bulky. Wearing a size 12, when I took the shoe out if the box, it looked like it was going be too small, not the case, plus the soles have the boardfeel I never found with other skateboarding shoes. They're made of suede; not canvas. They'll hold up the longest for skateboarding. I hope the ADV Gazelle never gets discontinued. Only thing I'd change and it's minor, is the color of the sole , it could be a little brighter, it's more of an off white, almost beige. The toebox is slightly pointed for flip tricks. This shoe also doesn't feel too snug around the sides of your instep, the way other skate shoes feel, they're cramped in that area, not these. Get these ADV Gazelles and you'll be impressed with the way they fit and their durability fir your skateboard
Really like the fit and comfort of the Adidas Gazelle ADV, the fit is right so order your regular size
ProsRuns true to size, sole is flexible and comfortable. Looks even better in person.ConsHad to return it because tongue length is halfway so bothered the front part of my lower ankle. The ?Samba? tongue is too long and this one is too short. Go figure.
For size 8 these came up very small
That person’s review helped out a lot because these are said to be in the women’s department. Before ordering these, thinking that they are in women size, just to find out after purchase that these were like in men size, could have created frustration and confusion, so thank you for letting the rest of the people know about this issue.
These are the only Adidas I've ever tried on that fit my wide foot, come in a 13.5, and are actually made for pro skateboarding (good outsole). If you have narrow or slim feet, you may want to size down a half size. All the other Adidas I've tried on in the same size are way too narrow for me. These do feel true to length, just wider in the toe box. There's a youtube vid, Gazelle ADV.
Great color but Adidas typically runs large. I purchased a size 4, which is the equivalent of a Women’s 6, and they’re a full size too big. I normally wear a size 5.5 but even with insoles and thicker socks, I couldn’t keep them.
