For a trainer so simple, it sure carries a lot of character. These adidas shoes lock in all the history of the Gazelle since its inception in the '60s — everything from the reggae scene to the terrace subculture. Not a bad tone to set your day with. Especially when there's comfort fuelling it all. The clean suede upper is detailed with signature 3-Stripes and gold foil accents for a quick metallic flash. Lace closure. Suede upper. Textile lining. Rubber outsole.

I am a huge fan of Sambas, having owned a half-dozen pairs in my life. I am trying to replace all of the black in my wardrobe with navy, and could not find Sambas in navy in my size. I decided to buy these Big Kid Gazelle’s in Collegiate Navy/White. I’m not thrilled with the tongue, which is white as opposed to collegiate navy and made of a thin material that frequently falls down towards my toes as I walk. I still like the color and the style of the shoes very much and plan to wear them daily.

I like the look and feel of these shoes. The suede is nice quality, and the blue and tan colors are a good look. Ordered size 8.5 men's and the shoes fit perfect, not to tight or narrow. These shoes will go well with colored or blue jeans, khakis or shorts. The only negative part is the tongue of the shoe is a cheesy plastic with felt lining. The tongue tends to fold or crimp when putting the shoe on so have to reach in and adjust it each time. Even though it is hard to tell it's plastic at first glance, I know it's there and it looks cheap. The rest of the shoe is nice quality so I'm not sure why they went with thin plastic for this part. I didn't give 5 stars for this reason.

Pink Gazelle — love them but as a few other reviews mention, they do indeed run large. In Adidas, I normally wear Big Kids size 7. Ordered Big Kids 6.5 on advice from the reviews, but they’re too big. I don’t like shoes when they’re snug fitting, but my feet were swimming in size 6.5. Luckily they still have pink Gazelles in Big Kids size 6.0 so am exchanging for the smaller size. otherwise, really happy with the style and profile of Gazelle. The pink shoe with beige color gum outside sole is a nice change from the traditional white outside sole. Highly recommend.

Great shoe, style, and neutral colorway. Just what I was looking for. It was also delivered quickly which was awesome. The only reason for the loss of a star was that this shoe was clearly slightly used. It had dark scuffs on both toes and on the soles. They were also not wrapped in the paper in the box. The paper was all bunched up under it as if someone put them on and then just put them back in without bothering with the paper. It's not bad enough that I'll go through the hassle of exchanging them but however they handle returns and inspections, they need to put a little more attention into the restocking process.
I’m now avoiding buying this leather tongue, it has to be positioned right or squeaks loudly while walking, like a cheap shoe. Positioned correctly, it still squeaks, but less. Roomy on a narrow-medium width, we tried 5 and 5.5, keeping the larger for next year, but we tie it taut to keep a narrower fit. Laces are flat and untreated which are awesome. The color and style are absolutely vibrant and gorgeous!
These shoes are beautiful! They were given to me as a Christmas gift and I was so excited. The look, the color was just my style. Sadly, after trying 3 different sizes, they just didn't work for me. My feet are average and I never have issues with shoes fitting me. The ankles and heels slipped and rubbed my foot. They squeak really loudly the whole time I was walking. I was very disappointed with everything about the shoe except for the look of it. If you buy them, go down a half size. I wear a 9, but could fit in the 8 and 8.5. I felt the 8.5 fit best though. Sad they didn't work out because they were super cute.
As a woman who typically wears a 7.5 or 8, I was truly shocked at how large these shoes are. I ordered them in a size 5.5 and they fit wonderful! I would definitely try on in-store and make sure you try on a boys shoe if you are looking to go the same route i did. Because they are suede, they haven’t been holding up great and are already showing signs of wear and tear even though it’s only been about 2 weeks. I would strongly recommend water proofing them and they are a bit squeaky, however I did know that going into the purchase. I did not however expect just how squeaky these things are. They are super comfortable and if your wearing socks that go over them you won’t get any blisters (or at least I haven’t) all and all, if you’re looking to get gazelles this is ... MoreAs a woman who typically wears a 7.5 or 8, I was truly shocked at how large these shoes are. Overall I love Adidas and have many pairs - these sneakers fit well and look great but they squeek when you walk. The tongue is odd and makes a lot of noise where it rubs against the laces. This part of the shoe is not consistent from pair to pair that I own. I would love to keep these but will likely return them because of the annoying squeaky sound that’s non stop when you move your foot. Disappointing. Do better Adidas.
i bought this because i just see everyone wear sambas, i wanted something similar but different. i love the dark blue with light blue stripes, a little hard to match but i make it work. there are other colors to choose from, i just wish there were gum button options. gazelle is basically a fully suede samba, honestly more comfortable in my opinion. i wear these 8 hours straight and i have no problem with them. i'll take these over sambas any day.
The sizing on these shoes is insanely confusing. Numerous reviews say to size down, they say they’re unisex sizing so only size down if you’re wanting women sizing, they say the women’s gazelles are true to size, then they say they run small 🤣 the fact is these run MASSIVE. These are women’s shoes, labeled women’s, sold in women’s section. Yet they are not women’s sizing. I am normally a 7.5-8 in all shoes, 38.5 or 39EU. I typically wear a 7 in adidas since they do run big on me. I could really use a 7.25, 7.5 is just too big and slides on my heel. For these they said to size down. Well my normal adidas size is 7, so I went with a 6. A size I NEVER wear in unisex, or men’s and definitely not in women. They fit. They’re snug but I think a 6.5 would be too big. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SIZE CORRECTLY AND CONSISTENTLY?! Isn’t it just based off of measurements? Something that can easily be dialed in. So annoying to try and order shoes online and stores never have any inventory of anything anyone wants.
