At first the shoe was pretty decent, though it runs about a half size to a size big. The fit was pretty weird also and gave me some bad blisters on my feet. The traction was good for about 2 practices and a game, but after that the sole started to literally wear off. If you have a coach who makes you run a lot definitely do not get these shoes lol.

I'm not someone who buys multiple basketball shoes every year (with the lone exception of the rare instance where I find a good pair on clearance). I put a few months of research into finding the perfect pair before the season begins, and that's the pair that I hoop in. I've always preferred adidas to other brands, so I had narrowed my choices down to the Crazy Explosive, D Rose 7, and Harden Vol. 1. Despite years of playing basketball, I had never actually owned a pair of low top basketball shoes before, so I decided to give the Hardens a try. The first few times I played in them, I was very happy. This was as close as I'd ever had to a perfect shoe - cushion, fit, overall comfort - it was all there. Then I played a pickup game in them. The traction was UTTERLY TERRIBLE. This was a freshly waxed court (and I mean completely dust-free), but I was slipping and sliding all over the place. My man scored almost all of the other team's points because I couldn't keep up with him - he beat me every single time off the dribble because it is impossible to move laterally in these shoes without sliding 4-6 inches in the wrong direction, no matter how much I wiped the soles.Luckily for me, I did buy these with a gift card, so it's not like I broke my bank. Hopefully I can get my hands on some D Rose shoes before the season actually begins, as I've really enjoyed them in the past.(On a side note, I know that different colorways have different materials, so it is possible that my experience was just a result of that.)

Was a bit hesitant because of the low price but figured Ive been wanting the Cargos since they dropped last year, but got various other pairs before and then they were out of stock. Finally got around to it and with a great price.

The james harden vol 1 are great sneakers. Very comfortable and wide foot friendly. Received my package from League Outfitters in a timely manner. Excellent company!
I tried several different brands of basketball shoes and they were all too narrow for me. My wide feet fit great in these shoes and were very comfortable from the first time I wore them. Love my Harden Vol.1 shoes!!!
If you have a wider foot these are great shoes for basketball. This is my son's 2nd pair, in between he tried the LeBron James solider 11s which have more of a narrow foot to them causing his feet blisters and rubbing.
When I first saw this shoe, I fell in love. The colors, the tongue, the laces, everything! Then, I went to the store to check it out and it definitely looks better in picture. I mean it's a great shoe and all but seeing it in person was anti-climactic. The shoe quality is amazing especially on a real basketball court. If you play basketball, It's a must buy, If you wear it for style, not worth your $140.
My son adores these shoes! Unfortunately the black black color way is not available in 9, or I would be buying them. Go Adidas!
The bottom of the shoes gets mud in easly so watch for that . Very easy to clean just need a wet towel must of the time. Light on the feet kinda light built well for a guard.
Took over a week of constant playing before the shoe formed to my foot. After, they feel outstanding with the exception of the very, very occasional heel slip. Though this could possibly be prevented by going a half size down.
