I wanted to put some miles on before reviewing these shoes... I've got about 50ish miles on them now and I am really enjoying them. No issues since then... just know that the top is super thin, which helps keep them light, but makes it easy to have the laces dig into your foot.

The shoes are light weight as they should be. While they are soft on the foot strikes, they are a lil stiff in the soles compared to what I am used to. For me though.. the right shoe box can get a lil snug. I like how the laces are a good size. You dont have a lot of left over to flop over the place.The over outside material is comfy, though feels like it runs a lil hot.The tread is pretty flat, so it feels more like a hard dirt kinda shoe if you want to go on trail. Definitly not on loose/gravel terrainThe color of this shoe is black w/ neon green trim, but doesn't glow in dark nor did I not notice any time of reflection for night time running.Overall, I would add it to my stable, but would use it more for the shorter runs

I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The Adidas Supernova Rise are mid-cushion running shoes. They have more cushion than a lightweight race shoe but less cushion than some of the clunky max cushion shoes like the Hoka Bondi. In my estimation, the Supernova Rise is very similar in weight and cushion to the ASICS Gel Cumulus, with the primary difference being the Supernova Rise has a bit more spring to it. Runners with calf tightness or Achilles pain will appreciate the 10mm heel-to-toe drop. I think the Supernova Rise would fit in nicely as a daily trainer, reserving the lightweight low cushion shoes for race day.

Rough, uneven terrain and debris; your typical nature-walk (or run). They perform great! I have some dedicated trail runners and to be honest I kind of like these more, because they are light and airy plus provide superior cushioning and bounce back. If you're doing anything more heavily technical however, like rough slopes or extreme elevations, I would definitely recommend going for a shoe more geared to the task, as I feel these might be more prone to rolling, and the tread is not quite as grippy. That being said, I had no problem leaping from log to log, or going serpentine down a rocky trail in these.Looking for a street or light trail shoe, look no further. Looking for something to provide relief to those aching feetbones, Supernovas absolutely got your...feet. Great way to put some oomf in your step without much effort on your part. Only thing these can't do is run by themselves.

It captures your feet without constricting them, and at the same time, it provides your foot ample toe box space. The breathable and flexible upper mesh design contributes greatly in providing comfort during long hauls.In closing, if you want a pair of runners for daily training and wish to go longer and still feel comfortable, you might want to give the Adidas Supernova Rise a shot. If you’re someone who decided to give running a go, these runners will not turn you off away from the sport. And better yet, if you just want a pair of shoes to wear comfortably all day, you should give these a try.
I have been running in the now discontinued New Balance 1400v6 for several years and am wearing out my final pair. I found this shoe to be a pretty good replacement. Both shoes have a 10mm drop so they feel very similar during the run. This adidas has more cushion which you will notice on the run but the actual foot feel with the arch/drop I find similar enough. Weight wise they are 9.8oz vs 7.0oz on the New Balance. If you are trying to avoid cushion then probably look elsewhere.I have done a few small runs 4-5 miles and think they should be good for longer as well. I find them breathable and cool on the foot.My US 10.5 fit as expected, understanding that with Adidas I run between 10.5 and 11 depending on the purpose of the show (ie, for which sport it is built).Listed as a neutral shoe, I did perceive a little pronation on the running stride, and I felt that it was becoming uncomfortable at mile 5 of one run. That could be explained as simply part of the break-in process, and in fairness I’m probably being super-alert and perhaps overly critical for the sake of a thorough review.That said, I’m not excited for more 10k plus runs on them. I might keep them around for shorter runs, or consider them for short races as, again, they feel light and fast.On the ruck, I think I’m really starting to like the Supernovas. The cushion feels really accommodating on the heel strike, which for better or worse is to my benefit. I really appreciate what I perceive to be only modest rocker on the toe, as I’m not a fan of feeling too much roll forward under load. Unfortunately, as I did on a longer run, I started to feel some discomfort at around 1:15hrs of a 1:45hrs of ruck. It might be that these shoes just don’t quite have everything I need for the longer efforts.All in all, the Supernova is, on initial use, a comfortable and appealing shoe. At the price point and for what it’s intended, I think it’s out-performing my expectations, although I’m not necessarily in love with it. Nonetheless, a solid 4/5 stars for comfort and value!

I’m not a runner, I’m short and stocky. 5’6 and weigh 200 lbs. these shoes are very comfortable, I have the 9.5 wide width. Usually a 10 in every other shoe brand.I used these for stair climber, incline treadmill walks and recently started jogging 3 incline at 4.5mph for 1-2 miles and I’m extremely happy with these.I did 5 rounds of 30 seconds sprints at 7mph and these are great.Smooth transitions, cushion is soft and springy. Good support. Extra eyelet for the runners tie in to lock the heel down is a plus.I used to run in ultraboost but these are way better.
