This a really nice, trendy, and sturdy hiking shoe. This isn't a boot so you won't get the clunkiness of a boot. You get all the ankle support of a boot with the mobility of a shoe. The Boost Cushioning System makes it a really nice daily wearer if you choose to wear it as an Urban Hiker. The shoe has a really nice foot profile with jeans. A really well made shoe.

When I look for a hiking boot, I want it to cover my ankles. The biggest issue that I have found with hiking boots is the material near your ankle is so thick, it always creates a gap that things fall through. This hiking boot completely solves this issue. It is so snug and comfortable to hike in. Ive put just over 55 miles on mine since December 2020 and I couldn't be happier. The only complaint I have is the "tounge" of the shoe is very thin and the laces tend to hurt the top of my feet when pulled tight enought to keep my foot snug.Overall, I will never be buying another hiking boot agian.

I work on my feet over 8 hours 5 days a week and my feet were killing me the first couple of weeks after starting. My mom bought me these shoes and let me tell you this is the greatest show ever. They were true to size and so far they have been comfortable, supportive, great looking. They were on sale in your site, we're so lucky we found them here. The shipping was so fast and I could not be happier with this gift. Mom you're awesome! Adidas and Nordstrom you rock!

My new favorite shoe
1 April 2022

I love everything about this shoe. It’s comfortable; the toe box is nice and roomy and the cushioning feels plush underfoot. It genuinely feels like I’m wearing a running shoe, but it also offers great protection and it looks good. I wear these for everything from trips to the grocery store to Spring hikes in Minnesota through wet and sloppy conditions.

Peak comfort + sneaker style

It was the bright blue, red, and sea foam green colorways that caught my eye, and which complement many outfits in my wardrobe. They get compliments as if they were some limited edition high-top sneakers when I wear them out dancing, but on the trails and walking on snow in winter, they're by far the most comfortable hiking boots I've owned - compared to a bunch of more expensive, leather and suede boots made by Italian mountaineering brands even! Whereas many boots I've owned trap in the cold - my feet have circulation problems and are often cold from within - these Adidas hiking kicks do a great job of warming my feet and toes without ever feeling constricting. My only wish is that they could be completely stain-proof, to keep looking fly even after having been ... MoreIt was the bright blue, red, and sea foam green colorways that caught my eye, and which complement many outfits in my wardrobe. Also, I got lucky with the size fitting me well. How is it that these 11s fit me just as well as some older Adidas trail-running shoes that are size 9.5?

Too loose, foot slides around in the sho
8 August 2022

Shoe did not fit snug and my foot slid around in the shoe. I described the feel similar to walking around in soaking wet tennis shoes. Backcountry was awesome about returning them for credit and I’m going to try the Hoka Anacapa instead.

Very Comfortable

These are great hiking boots! The sole is cushiony and reminds me of wearing the Adidas Ultra Boosts. Took off one star because the higher top is a little uncomfortable.

Very Comfortable
16 April 2021

I ordered these hiking boots after reading other reviews. I went for half a size larger than my usual trainer size to give the option of wearing thicker socks. The boots fit well. All my walks so far have been in the dry .. so we'll have to see how dry my feet stay in the wet. The cushioning in the sole means the boots are supremely comfortable to wear. One drawback, is that it's quite a struggle to get the boots on through the narrow elasticated top, but this should prevent annoying little stones getting in.Why there's a reference to cannabis culture (420) printed on the heel tabs is anyone's guess. Possibly, ageing ramblers are not the target market for this boot ?

WORK WORK WORK— and play.. and college
8 February 2021

I got my son these shoes because he is on his feet for 8-9 hours/day working— he takes over 180,000 steps/day or more. These are the best most comfortable shoes he’s ever had according to him and stylish at the same time. His athletic shoes were not keeping his feet comfortable. He says these provide great support, don’t slip (he’s able to run back and forth from outside to back inside with ease— and keeps his feet dry in rain or snow. I highly recommend these for work and glad he’ll be able to use these for trekking on hikes when he’s not working; he’s also planning to wear them for college where it’s hilly and requires walking in similar situations. Totally versatile for any need.. works as boots, tennis shoes, and hikers.
