I am a huge fan of Sambas, having owned a half-dozen pairs in my life. I am trying to replace all of the black in my wardrobe with navy, and could not find Sambas in navy in my size. I decided to buy these Big Kid Gazelle’s in Collegiate Navy/White. I’m not thrilled with the tongue, which is white as opposed to collegiate navy and made of a thin material that frequently falls down towards my toes as I walk. I still like the color and the style of the shoes very much and plan to wear them daily.

Pink Gazelle — love them but as a few other reviews mention, they do indeed run large. In Adidas, I normally wear Big Kids size 7. Ordered Big Kids 6.5 on advice from the reviews, but they’re too big. I don’t like shoes when they’re snug fitting, but my feet were swimming in size 6.5. Luckily they still have pink Gazelles in Big Kids size 6.0 so am exchanging for the smaller size. otherwise, really happy with the style and profile of Gazelle. The pink shoe with beige color gum outside sole is a nice change from the traditional white outside sole. Highly recommend.

I searched and searched for the women's version of these or the sambas....always sold out. I remembered that my size 5 shoe daughter could wear a size 3 perfectly in big kids. I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 5 in these. They fit great..maybe even a hair big, but not enough to send back.

I bought the Gazelle for a casual everyday look. They fit true to size and they are very comfortable. I had no problem with the width as I have wide feet. Love them! Thinking about getting another color.
I’m now avoiding buying this leather tongue, it has to be positioned right or squeaks loudly while walking, like a cheap shoe. Positioned correctly, it still squeaks, but less. Roomy on a narrow-medium width, we tried 5 and 5.5, keeping the larger for next year, but we tie it taut to keep a narrower fit. Laces are flat and untreated which are awesome. The color and style are absolutely vibrant and gorgeous!
Shoe runs very big. Def recommend going down at least one size. Max 1.5 sizes down. Surprisingly comfortable! The insole is squishy and comfy for all day wear. Con- the leather tongue is definitely an irritant. The constant friction against the shin causes chafing.
As a woman who typically wears a 7.5 or 8, I was truly shocked at how large these shoes are. I ordered them in a size 5.5 and they fit wonderful! I would definitely try on in-store and make sure you try on a boys shoe if you are looking to go the same route i did. Because they are suede, they haven’t been holding up great and are already showing signs of wear and tear even though it’s only been about 2 weeks. I would strongly recommend water proofing them and they are a bit squeaky, however I did know that going into the purchase. I did not however expect just how squeaky these things are. They are super comfortable and if your wearing socks that go over them you won’t get any blisters (or at least I haven’t) all and all, if you’re looking to get gazelles this is ... MoreAs a woman who typically wears a 7.5 or 8, I was truly shocked at how large these shoes are. These shoes are adorable! So stylish and they have the cutest details. I got the green and tan and they have a gold adidas logo on the tongue and a little charm. Definitely a stylish shoe! I work in a school so I like to match my shoes to our school colors :)A NOTE ABOUT SIZING: these are KIDS shoes! I am a true 7.5 in women’s shoes and I am a 5.5 in kids/men’s shoes. I ordered the 5.5 and they fit perfectly. (For reference I am also a EU38 size)
Obsessed with these sneakers . They are my favorite style . I am normally a size 7 in women’s and I normally get a big kids 5 or 5.5 , I had to get the big kids 4.5 in these they definitely run a whole size big . Size down
Uncomfortable tongue that rubs against your ankle. They used to have suede tongues and the design change makes this unwearable. If you are wearing it with thick longer socks maybe, but for all year wear… it’s going to break your skin if you walk a lot
