Adidas make a lot of similar looking shoes: Superstar, Gazelle, Stan Smith etc. I always wanted a pair of Superstars but they don't fit my wide feet. I though the Spezials wouldn't fit me either but they expand sideways a little so I can have a nice long narrow looking foot instead of a stubby, short duck looking foot! This is the first pair of Handball Spezials I have bought but won't be the last!
Very comfortable (more so than my Adidas Gazelle sneakers) and have a nice balance between "casualness" and "style".

These trainers are substantial, this particular model is made of better materials than some Adidas Originals (that are prone to spring leaks quickly). This trainer doesn’t, I have a pair of yellow ones and they are still going (after 5 years). The colour of these is awesome too, just really pleased to have bought a pair.
