I ordered the Green Stripe Gum sole Sambas.The adult version has dark soles which I am not a fan of so I was so excited to find these in the kid's size in this colourway.The kids version is also 20$ cheaper than the adult Sambas.Unlike many customers I have no issues with the back of my ankle blistering.I wear a size 6.5 in Womens Adidas. I purchased the Big Kids 5 (make sure you order the Big Kids-Which is marked with a Y on the box).Similar to the Adult Sambaswidth-wise they run a little on the narrow side- So if you have slightly wider feet either skip on these shoes or be ready to order a larger side, The width of my feet are average leaning more towards narrow. I bought a pair first for myself to try before letting my daughter try. Gosh, I've never ruined the back of my feet until I've worn the sambas (I got really bad back blisters). So I decided I didn't want to ruin my kids' feet. I returned theirs to save them from feet damage.

These are apparently all sold out in big kids now, but I just got my pair of Big kids purple /gum Sambas today and love them! I typically wear a women’s 7.5 -8. I was only able to get big kids 6 and it fits a tad roomy in tow area but with light crew sock it will be great . Soooo happy with my purchase ! Definitely recommend . The color is fabulous!

For adidas sizing I wear womens 6.5 and I fit big kids 5 perfect with little space that my toes are not touching the tip of the shoes. They run narrow so if you have wide feet this might not be a good fit for you. They are exactly the same as Womens/Mens Samba and cheaper. This shoes are light, comfortable and they go with anything and everything from jeans, joggers, slacks or trousers, shorts, skirts, dress and they are very stylish. I LOVE THEM!!!
Very disappointed, as i was sent the incorrect size for my son. The box said correct size, the shoes inside the box were wrong size. I ordered the same shoe for both my husband and i , and needed all 3 of us to have matching pair for certain occasion. The shoes sent obviously didn’t fit our son. Not happy. Please do better Nordstrom and check sizes before shipping to customers.
Love the lavender/aqua color combo. Super cute in person. The Sambas run large. I'm a solid size women's 9 and the girl's 7 fits perfectly.
I like these as a versatile everyday sneaker that is easy to dress up or down. I like that it's another flatter profile shoe option. I usually wear a 6.5 women's shoe, and a 5 youth worked well for me. There was some heel rubbing on the first day, but I've been able to wear them regularly without any pain since.
I ordered a Little Kid size 4M (which is a full grown kid, 8 years old!- I ended up w BABY shoes! Size 4K. Either the website is mislabeled or the shoes are incorrectly sized and organized. Very disappointed. Considering other reviews, this seems to be happening across the board so trying to reorder probably won’t solve the issue.
I got this in kids because it’s much cheaper. I am a women’s 7/7.5 US and was debating between a big kiss 5.5 or 6 but I am so glad I got a 5.5 because it fit perfectly, it gave me the perfect room for it to not be too small. The 5.5 felt like a 7.5 rather and a 7. So if you are a 7/7.5 women’s like me get a 5.5 but I would say if you want a more fitting size then perhaps go one half size down that’s something I would of definitely done if I knew beforehand purchasing
I was a little hesitant to order these shoes because of the mixed reviews on the sizing. But I thoroughly review the size chart and I measured everyone’s foot. I got a “big kid” 6.5 for me (I am normally a women’s size 8). For my 4.5 year old daughter I got a toddler size 10 (she is normally a size 10 at target and other shoe stores. And for my 11 month old I got a walker size 5. Those are a little big for her still but she will grow into them (all the baby sizes were sold out). Overall everyone’s shoes fit! I’m excited to have matching shoes with my girls and it’s cool that the bigger kids sizes are equivalent to women’s sizes!
