These shoes are absolutely beautiful. The gold, black and embossed logo details give a modern take on classic Stan Smiths. They're just what I was looking for. However, it's difficult to get the right size - I had to go down 1.5 sizes to get the right length. Even then, because this has a thinner tongue, I have heel slippage unless I do a lace lock. Keeping them but wish the tongue had been thicker like the Primegreen versions.

These are pleather. They cost as much as the old Stan Smiths but they're plastic. They squeek, they fit poorly and they're NOT going to break in like leather does. I'm all for saving the environment and animals but not when you're gonna charge be the same price for garbage and they shoe doesn't fit or last. More junk in the landfills vs a good quality leather shoe.

I have been wearing Stan Smith since the 80s when they were leather. The last pair I was able to purchase that were leather was three years ago in France. Amazing shoes!! Now they ARE NOT leather and the difference is night and day as far as comfort and they squeak when I walk. I thought maybe it was just that pair so I bought another and they are the same. I called the company some months ago to see if there was anyplace in the country I could still purchase leather Stan Smith and was told no.

I bought these having heard from friends about how comfortable Stan Smith shoes are. Unfortunately, my experience does not match the same level of enthusiasm. Perhaps I did not order the correct model, these are synthetic, not leather, which doesn't allow the feet to breathe properly. Also, perhaps a fault of my order only, one shoe arrived slightly looser than the other, maybe it had been tried on several times. I thought the other one would get looser after one wear, however, this did not happen. The shoes feel quite rigid and the material does not get softer as you wear it. After a couple of hours of wearing, my calves and the soles of my feet really hurt and It's a shame as the design is beautiful. The quality, however is not great.
I am not a lover of sneakers but I like this one. They are classic and gives you the simple but beautiful touch you are looking for…. I wear a size 7 and a half but sometimes 8 depends on the shoe. With this shoe you have to lower the size because they run big I had to change it for a 6 and a half. They were cute and I looked beautiful. Now I want the ones with blue on the back. Ps. —> This size is for women, I don't know how it fits for men.
I’ve always wanted these Stan Smith sneakers having played tennis. I wear them around with pants and with casual outfits. They fit the new dress sneaker trend perfectly. They do run big. I had to exchange for one full size down. The white cleans up nicely with baby wipes!
I bought because I loved the look. Other than that I would not buy these again. First the sizing is all wrong. Waaay too big. I think they are doing men’s sizing for women. I got a size 9 and had to change to a size 8 and they are still too big! I probably needed a 7.5. I never wear a 7.5 shoe. Ever! The sizing is so wrong. So a whole size and half difference is a big problem. Also they are not comfortable. The soles have no cushion and no arch. I wish I could return them but I’ve already been wearing them hoping they would get better with wear. 😔
After trial and error finally got the size right. I’m normally a 10 but a 9 was the perfect fit. I have the Allstars in a 9.5 and can barely wear them, too big. Tried both on and definitely the 9 is perfect. My feet aren’t wide nor narrow. I love the green, Celtics!! Got these on sale and they’re real leather. Not plastic like other stores are selling.
Saw these cute Adidas Stan Smith low tops and felI in love. I wanted the pink but they were out of stock, so I purchased the navy. They were very comfortable right from the start, did not need to "break them in". I also got them during a promotion with 25% off, so that made the purchase even better. (Note: they run a little long, I got 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear in sneakers.) Thanks, Bloomingdales!!
Absolutely loved my leather Stan Smiths. Why would anyone pay almost 100.00 for recycled plastic shoes? If Adidas wants to go woke perhaps they should also continue a line of these shoes for the people who loved their Stan Smiths made from leather. After all, that is one reason this shoe is so popular for so long.
