Paying homage to the Hindu Festival of Colour known as Holi, celebrated across the Indian subcontinent as a welcoming of the Spring months and a celebration of the triumph of good against evil. This March 2018 release, as part of the three colourway "Holi Festival" pack, Pharrell Williams and Adidas once again excellently team up to create the Pharrell x NMD TR Equality, and it's a goodun. Building on from Pharrell Williams' previous collections that have celebrated diversity and goodwill, it's hardly surprising that this pack opts for such an inspirational theme. This particular iteration boasts a more understated theme compared with others in the Hu Holi Pack. But subtle detailing still manages to set this apart as an exclusive. This model features a Core Black upper accented by Deepest Purple laces, TPU lacing cage and EVA midsole inserts. The word 'EQUALITY' is embroidered in white on the upper left shoe, with matching Devanagari text on the right one. A white Boost midsole and Core Black serrated outsole finish off the design. This shoe is an interesting take on a classic NMD, and definitely adds an exciting blend of Asian spices to this wonderfully celebrated silhouette.
