I love the look of this sneaker, but would consider it a fashion shoe and not an athletic shoe. The sole is only moderately supportive and the back of the heel has a very high rise that can dig into the back of your ankle. Hopefully, this will subside as the shoes break in.On the other hand, they are very cool looking and go with just about everything.

These shoes are incredibly cute and fit very well. I bought the cream and pink, and they're just so dang adorable! I thought they might feel too flat, but they support my feet pretty well. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that they did blister my heels the first time out; I'm hoping to break them in a bit because I do really like them otherwise. If I can't break them in, I may have to tape my heels when wearing them.

I first purchased the original OG’s and I live in them. I was stalking this 2nd pair in the black and cream combo but my size was always out of stock. For reference, I’m a size 8 men’s/9 women’s in the unisex OG white ones. So when I saw the black ones available in the women’s 9.5, I decided to pull the trigger and see if they would work. Surprisingly, they’re perfect! They fit identical to my other unisex ones in size 9, which surprised me. So these black ones run slightly smaller. I’m thrilled to have both pairs! I also purchased a third pair in the all cream w/ black stripes, but I found those to have a very peachy yellow undertone, which I didn’t care for. So I returned those. I highly recommend the white OGs and black/cream suede ones if you can your hands on them.
I've been looking at Sambas for a while now. Finally, I found a colorway I like in my size. I am normally a 6. I ordered 6.5 per other reviewer. I thought they would be too big, because they are very long. But the width is correct on the 6.5. I have a thumbs width between the end of my big toe and the of the shoe. The arch support hits my arch correctly. I really like them. I got black and cream.
I like the look, but the heel tab poked into my foot so much that it broke skin, and I had to return the shoes. I traded them in for Adidas sambas with the larger sole (more comfortable than OG Samba) and softer heel tab. I love the new Adidas sambas.
I wanted to love this pair. They are super cute and a cult classic but the high back heel gives me the most horrible blisters. I tried wearing higher socks and still! I tried with bandaids and it didn’t improve. I can’t wear it more than a couple hours without them pinching me. Now I have this horrible blister mark :(
I don't understand how anyone can tolerate wearing this with the tongue being so stiff and sharp. I have been buying Adidas for most of my life, I love them, but the tongue on these instantly digs into the front of my ankles and the heel is still too loose so it slip around even though the length is barely long enough for me. I usually wear a 9.5-10, generally a 10 in adidas but I got a 9.5 in these. They're cute but I don't want cuts in my ankles so I'll have to send back. Change that tongue, goodness.
These are my second pair of Sambas. I feel really lucky to have snagged a pair in the black/cream color way. I purchased both the women’s size 6.5 and 6 (or men’s 5.5 and 5, UK size 4 and 3.5 respectively). I usually wear women’s size 6. Both sizes fit though the 6 was more snug. I went with the 6.5. Love how these are comfortable, affordable, and a casual classic!
