I like the classic look of the Samba and the black gives it a unique euro-soccer falir but still goes with a lot of outfits. The leather and materials are nice quality, but i did find the higher back of the heel rub against me where the top meets my achilles heel so would recommend high socks and not walking for a long period you're first time wearing

This is for the white with black stripes color. Such a classic. Goes with so much. I was going to do a color but realized that the white/black matches so much more. They have hardly any padding though. I used a comfy insole under the sole they came with and they feel great. My regular size fit with the insert. If you don't want to use an insert, you might need to go down a half size.

I got these for a trip to NYC with my teen daughters and they were both really comfortable and made my neutral outfits more fun. After the trip I’ve been wearing them in regular rotation with both jeans and long skirts and almost always get compliments.I did size up 1/2 size because that was all that was available in the color I wanted, but I think I could have gone with my normal size too.

My shoe size is 8.5 but I read reviews that said to size down so I initially ordered them (elsewhere) in size 8. The 8 was too short so I ordered a second pair from Nordstorm in 8.5 and they were too long. So they didnt fit in either size but I also found them very stiff and the tongues jabbed painfully into the front of my ankle. I wear a medium shoe and they also seemed a little wide. I couldnt wear them so they were returned. I also wanted to mention that these sneakers are marked up substantially by most retailers due to their popularity but I appreciated that Nordstorm only charged $100 which, I assume, is the suggested retail price.
I was looking to buy the Sambas with light blue stripes. Apparently the color is called “Halo” but the image and the descriptions did not match. So I purchased the unwanted indigo color, even thought the halo photo was showing. I had to return them.
I first purchased the original OG’s and I live in them. I was stalking this 2nd pair in the black and cream combo but my size was always out of stock. For reference, I’m a size 8 men’s/9 women’s in the unisex OG white ones. So when I saw the black ones available in the women’s 9.5, I decided to pull the trigger and see if they would work. Surprisingly, they’re perfect! They fit identical to my other unisex ones in size 9, which surprised me. So these black ones run slightly smaller. I’m thrilled to have both pairs! I also purchased a third pair in the all cream w/ black stripes, but I found those to have a very peachy yellow undertone, which I didn’t care for. So I returned those. I highly recommend the white OGs and black/cream suede ones if you can your hands on them.
I like the look, but the heel tab poked into my foot so much that it broke skin, and I had to return the shoes. I traded them in for Adidas sambas with the larger sole (more comfortable than OG Samba) and softer heel tab. I love the new Adidas sambas.
These shoes have been hard to get a hold of. Glad I finally was able to purchase a pair. Very comfortable. They run large so, order down. I’m a size 8. 7.5 is what I ordered.
I have worn these shoes for the past 4 days with camouflage leggings, a red top and a camel trench coat and have gotten more compliments on my outfit, they are so comfortable. I would highly recommend them that go with everything
These are my second pair of Sambas. I feel really lucky to have snagged a pair in the black/cream color way. I purchased both the women’s size 6.5 and 6 (or men’s 5.5 and 5, UK size 4 and 3.5 respectively). I usually wear women’s size 6. Both sizes fit though the 6 was more snug. I went with the 6.5. Love how these are comfortable, affordable, and a casual classic!
