A pair of shoes that I believe will last me a while; simple, robust materials. I was aware that sambas run narrow so I ordered a 0.5 up and they fit great. Definitely narrow but this actually provides a supportive element to an otherwise agile/freeing fit. Not much more to say as it's a simple design but great colours; accurate as seen online and again, a robust sole/seams that I expect to last me a good few years for day-to-day wear + casual exercise.

Classic. I love how they look!

This is for the white with black stripes color. Such a classic. Goes with so much. I was going to do a color but realized that the white/black matches so much more. They have hardly any padding though. I used a comfy insole under the sole they came with and they feel great. My regular size fit with the insert. If you don't want to use an insert, you might need to go down a half size.

Heads up on the sizing

I love my Sambas. Adidas is consistently large in sizing but not consistent in how much larger. For example, in the Superstar and Stan Smith, I only have to go down 1/2 a size. I would say go down a full size with the Samba. Here is my explanation...I am most consistently a UK 38. That is the sizze that best fits my foot. Typically that is a US size 7/7.5. For sneakers I wear a 7.5/8 for Nike or Reebok. I went with a 7 as that's what I get in Stan Smiths and Superstar for Adidas. The Samba are too long. Not walking out of them too long but slight clown feeling long. I checked the size on the box. Says size 7 US W but 38.5 UK. A 6.5 is what I need which will be a UK 38. Heels blistered, otherwise great

These shoes are incredibly cute and fit very well. I bought the cream and pink, and they're just so dang adorable! I thought they might feel too flat, but they support my feet pretty well. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that they did blister my heels the first time out; I'm hoping to break them in a bit because I do really like them otherwise. If I can't break them in, I may have to tape my heels when wearing them.

Obsessed

I absolutely love these trainers! They look good with so many different outfits, and I mostly wear cream / brown / black and khaki so they are ideal! The arch support is really good which is amazing for me as I have plantar fasciitis - at 33 years old it is so nice to be able to wear something other than Skechers arch fit!!!!! I’m going to buy these in other colours, I’ve just ordered the Earth colour Spezials which also have amazing support. I am a samba and Spezial convert! I am a size 7.5 and I ordered an 8 and these are fine! Fit like my usual trainers which always have a bit of room in them due to that half size.

Samba OG Women size 7

I am a size 7.5. I have to size down to a 7 for a perfect fit. Soft shoes. I walked for an hour with the shoes right out of the box, with long socks. Comfortable, no issues at all. The leather is supple. It feels like walking on sleepers. No much arch support but for me are super comfortable. After reading reviews I was concerned about two issues: slippery on wet surfaces or rain making causing people to fall, and hurting ankles to the point of blistering or bleeding. I am wearing the shoes with high socks for at least a week, not using the blower hack, but I dont have any issue so far with hurting or blisters, actually I am impressed about comfort and how fast the leather softened. I am not planning to wear the shoes when rain is on weather forecast, nevertheless, I was on a restaurant with barely moist floors under the table, the shoes felt like roller skates in the heel area. The heel area did not have any grip sliding (scary) while the front area has more grip. I managed to walk slowly and very carefully leaving the area. I purchased a sole grip spray hoping it will solve the issue. I am thankful for all the reviewers posting the slippery issue, it saves me to slide and fall because I was aware, and sadly I found it is true. Otherwise, wonderful shoes.

So happy to have both pairs!

I first purchased the original OG’s and I live in them. I was stalking this 2nd pair in the black and cream combo but my size was always out of stock. For reference, I’m a size 8 men’s/9 women’s in the unisex OG white ones. So when I saw the black ones available in the women’s 9.5, I decided to pull the trigger and see if they would work. Surprisingly, they’re perfect! They fit identical to my other unisex ones in size 9, which surprised me. So these black ones run slightly smaller. I’m thrilled to have both pairs! I also purchased a third pair in the all cream w/ black stripes, but I found those to have a very peachy yellow undertone, which I didn’t care for. So I returned those. I highly recommend the white OGs and black/cream suede ones if you can your hands on them.

The tongue is awful

I don't understand how anyone can tolerate wearing this with the tongue being so stiff and sharp. I have been buying Adidas for most of my life, I love them, but the tongue on these instantly digs into the front of my ankles and the heel is still too loose so it slip around even though the length is barely long enough for me. I usually wear a 9.5-10, generally a 10 in adidas but I got a 9.5 in these. They're cute but I don't want cuts in my ankles so I'll have to send back. Change that tongue, goodness.

White with green stripes version are poor quality

I ordered the white with green stripes and was really disappointed. The material looks wrinkly and feels more like nylon than leather, and the suede part looks matted. At first I thought I had received an old worn pair, but when I checked again online, you can see in the pictures that the green stripe Sambas do look wrinkly, so I guess Adidas just makes this version differently.I also ordered the classic black Sambas and they look/feel great and like real leather. So, I still recommend Sambas in general, but definitely not in this color, which is sad because the green color is really cute.
