I love the shoes that I ordered. They remind me of the 70s or 80s and can be paired with so many different types of outfits. very cute, however I do wish that they would’ve been may be $100 less than what they were that’s all.

9.5 women’s wearing 8.5 men’s sambas

These have been my favorite sneaker of all time. The least fussy, goes with everything kind of sneaker. Very comfy and loosens up after just a couple of wears. Easy to clean. Only issue is that these have gotten an upgrade. The tongue used to be longer so that you could fold it over and tie the laces on top of the tongue to prevent it from shifting. They have shortened the tongue to the length seen on traditional sneakers. Because of this, of course, the tongue doesn’t stay put.

A classic that keeps making its way back.

Truly the OGs! True to size. I am a 7.5 and I was only able to find my size at Nordstrom, and they fit perfectly. I have wider feet and the are super comfortable. Adidas' quality never lets me down. A go-to classic pair of sneakers to pull off a casual look and a more put-together style, with the same ease. In love.

Black Chic

True to size! Do not go a size or even 1/2 size up! No need. Love the color black with a dark smoky rubber sole. Love it!

Came With Black Soles vs Gum Soles

Was looking for a pair of Sambas to grab quickly so was glad that Nordstrom had them, the only thing was when I picked them up they had Black/dark soles vs the traditional gum sole I was expecting. Going to keep them and order a pair with gum soles

Great Purchase!

I stalked the website to get the black & white. They are so comfortable & stylish. Easy to pair with jeans, slacks, dresses & skirts. I find the fit to be true to size and a little wide.

Lesson learned: You may not need to size up

I've been researching Samba OG sneakers for a minute and everywhere I've read, I was told to size up. I am normally a woman's size 10 (I am a true 10 with wide feet). In Converse, I wear (men's) size 7.5 or 8s. But for Samba OG sneakers, I ordered a woman's 10.5/men's 9.5. I just came on here to exchange for a smaller size but they're completely out of the white/halo blue/gum5 color way -- as is nearly every other store it seems -- so I'm sticking with these even though my feet look disproportionately larger than the rest of my body. Whoops! I think it is safe to play it conservative, at least in the way sizing is listed on Nordstrom's site, and go for your regular size.

Not unisex - too long and too wide for women

I absolutely love the look of these sneakers and I read the reviews before I purchased them. That said, for women who are considering buying the shoes, order them a complete size down. They are huge!! Note that these shoes are D width, which are for men. I normally wear a size 6B and 1/2 but in this shoe I would at least need a 5.5. They fit me like Ronald McDonald. Nordstrom's really needs to update the description and note that these shoes run big. Every other website on the internet indicate that these shoes run large, not small.

so cute, so painful

I searched for months to get these shoes in my size as they had been sold out. I was surprised at how expensive they are and the quality feel. The back of the shoe dug into my back ankle and I had to take them off after just 20 minutes. I’ll be returning these.
