I live the shoe but it was delivered absolutely demolished and there's a cut in the shoe. I wore them once and the cut is now growing. I work in product development and this is definitely a shipping and handling issue and I don't understand. I really was excited for these shoes and now am so discouraged in show palace :(. Hope customer service can work with me in some way.

It says runs a half size big but I’d say nearly a whole size big! I first ordered a 10 online. Went to exchange them in store but they didn’t have a 9 ½ so they ordered them and had them shipped to my house. The shoes arrived today and although the box says 9 ½ the shoes inside are actually only a 9. So they were mis-boxed. But they fit perfect!! That means they fit a whole size too big because all my other Adidas shoes are 10s. Very comfortable shoes!!!

I love the Samba look but didn’t want the exact ones seen everywhere. The Sambae is perfect! Comfy, some arch support, and not too noticeable of a lift on the slightly thicker sole. I typically wear a W 8 in most shoes and the 7.5 in regular Sambas and the Sambaes fits well. FYI, the Dick’s sizing is Women’s sizes.

I would definitely say sizing is closer to mens. Im a size 8 M and 9.5 W as well as a wide footer. With everyone saying get your men’s size, I did and it was still too small. I went up a full size and the fit was much more comfortable. Definitely a great show once you get the right size.
I've been searching for Adidas Samba in my size but they're always sold out. Dick's had 1 of the women's Sambae in my size, ONE! I ordered for pick up and wore them the same day. I hate breaking in shoes and there was absolutely no break in required. I normally wear 9.5 -10 shoe. I've noticed in Adidas that I could wear a 9. I purchased a 9.5, but definitely could have done with a 9. I love them, so comfy!
Adidas.com clearly shows unisex sizing for the Sambae while other stores like Dick's Sporting Goods advertise the Sambae as a women's shoe (with a woman on the shoe box label). I tried these on locally at DSG and size 9 is a men's size 9! Needed a size 8 to achieve my TTS women's size 9. Adidas, please put unisex sizing somewhere in the Sambae description and have other stores selling this shoe do the same...this would eliminate size confusion. After sizing was figured out, this is a dope and more comfortable Samba version!
I really like these shoes! I got a 7.5 which is my normal size and they fit perfect! The only thing is that one of the shoes came with a scuff on the tip of the shoe where there’s suede. I’m so upset about it because it’s hard to get rid of scuffs/stains on suede material so it’s makes it look dirty even though they’re new. I’m not happy.
I put these on, walked around the house, and told my husband these are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn! The leather is so soft and comfortable - no break-in period required. Definitely size down 1/2 a size - I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 and ordered a 6 in both pairs of Sambas I own. The fit is perfect!
I had purchased a pair of Gazelle in green suede which I loved but I hated that they were suede...I live in the PNW (it is wet here a lot)... I purchased at the same time a pair of the regular white Sambas with the dark sole and the black stripes...but I missed the green....I was thinking to myself I wish there was a way that they could merge the 2 shoes together... tada I found these.The shoe doesn't necessarily run big lengthwise but it is WIDE...I have an average to just on the edges of narrow (I cannot wear narrow shoes). I purchased a 6.5 and that is what I ended up getting, I tried the 6 and while it fit it rubbed against my big toe and I was thinking after the walking I would end up with blisters on my toe.
