I purchased the all-white Stan Smith. I saw several girls wearing the green accent ones on campus this year and I decided I want to try something new. I loved the style. I decided to go with all white because I am picky about everything matching and figured the white would be the best option. I usually wear much slimmer sneakers like Converse or Keds, so the style of these took a while to get used to because they are a bit thicker than those other shoes and the toe is much rounder. But now I love them and their versatility! I feel like I could wear them with skirts, shorts, skinny jeans, and maybe even a business outfit to give it an edgier look. They were comfortable out of the box and needed no break in time for me. The materials are very soft and flexible. So far ... MoreI purchased the all-white Stan Smith. So far I have been able to keep them pretty clean without too much fuss, and I'm sure these will last for a long time. I like them so much I might get a pair with color when I have the money. I am normally a 7.5 with a narrow foot, and the 7s are perfect. They run 1/2 larger as other reviews state.

I really wanted to love these, but unfortunately I decided - after much thought - to return them. I bought the black/gold pair online and didn't realize that it has a patent leather look, but that didn't bother me because I thought they were still really cute. The biggest issue for me was the tongue of the shoe. It is thin and not padded, and it is longer than normal. It rides all the way up my ankles and chafes when I walk. Yes, I know I can wear long socks or pull the tongue up over my pants - but if I'm going to pay up for a shoe, I shouldn't need a work-around to make the shoe comfortable. Other than the tongue issue, the shoe is actually very comfortable. I would recommend sizing down your normal size in these. I had been on the look out for white sneakers. I thought I had finally found them. I had read previous reviews to order down as they are big. Typically wear a 7.5 wide. I was indecisive if I should order a 7 or a 6.5. Took a chance and ordered a 6.5. The shoes finally came and was so eager to try them on. They fit! Walked around a few times in the house with them on. They were comfortable! No complaints. I couldn’t wait to wear them. I finally wore them out to run errands (target, kohls and Costco trip) and let me tell you after about 2 hours I could not wait to get home and take them off! The cushion in the sole seemed non existent as this point. The holes where the laces start were now digging into the top of my foot. Maybe my feet are too thick? I love Stan Smith sneakers, they are so comfortable and stylish. I had the navy and white for years and they were my absolute favorite shoes until I accidentally spilled something on them and had to throw them away, I was so sad to see them get tossed, they were my go-to shoe especially for driving. I have the green and white as well but they are a size 7 and are much bigger than my older navy pair, so they must have been a size 6 1/2. I'm usually a 7 or 7 1/2, so definitely order these down by a 1/2 or one full size.
I am not sure how anyone can wear these Stan Smith's. I am normally a size 11, they were huge. I ordered in 10 and 10.5. The real problem on all three is the tongue of the sneaker. It digs right into my ankle. I never had a sneaker where that happened. It is painful without even wearing them more than 5 minutes. No one else seemed to complain, so just not sure, what's up with me and these sneakers.
Annoyed because the NEXT day it was on sale. Next time I’ll check the actual site. They were on sale at both Nordstrom AND adidas. Pretty sure when I bought them they were on sale at adidas so always check! As for the shoe classic I sized down to a 7.5 I’m a women 8.5.
I've been wearing these shoes for years and have 4 pair in different colors and recently bought a 5th. The material, fit, and shape are totally different with the last two pairs I bought. They have a weird indentation at the interior base of the big toe, and the tongue is SO long it rubs your ankles. Why would they change the cut of these when they have been a great shoe after all these years?! I hope someone at adidas sees this and makes note of it since other reviewers have had similar complaints.
Pros: true white. Flattering shape for the feet.Cons: what is up with the tongue? It reached half way up my shin lol. Returning. It looked weird.*read other reviews about the sizing running large. I’m normally an 11, especially in sneakers and the 10 was perfect. Definitely needed socks though because the shoe was coming off when I walked without them.
This shoe does run slightly larger. My normal size is 8.5 and I purchased an 8 based on reviews. The 8 fits however I’m thinking I could also wear a 7 1/2 because I still had a little room at the toe. The tongue on the shoe is slightly longer so you can see the image, which is no issue for me. I purchased the white/pink shoe and it fits comfortably. I removed one star due to the cushion inside the shoe being slightly loose upon arrival, but I decided to keep the order. Very cute!
I tried on the adidas advantage at Nordstrom rack and they are SOOOOO comfortable. The only problem was I wasn’t entirely sold on the lilac color. So I found exactly what I wanted color wise at Nordstrom with these Stan smiths (fig color) and figured they are mostly the same shoe design/concept but unfortunately these are much more stiff and do not have the cloud foam insole.Overall the shoe is cute and minimalist. I wish it were more comfortable. It does run big so order half size down.
