These are my second pair of Stan Smith's shoes. The all black is probably a little plain, but I didn't want to a white sole and the alternative is not quite my style. However, they arrived quickly, as promised. I tried them on and was delighted with the fact they are as comfortable as the first pair I bought. I wore them all day, even on the first wearing, without any problems. Absolutely delighted.The only downside is that the materials on the black shoes look a bit more plastic-like than on the white. I'm sure they must be the same materials, though.Overall, fab comfortable shoes that are well made. If in doubt, DO give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

I've worn the Stan Smith Adidas shoe for 50 years - that's right 50 years and if that isn't testimony enough it should be - they've been making this shoe this long and they wouldn't be doing that if it wasn't a big seller.Why do I like this shoe? Going a 1/2 up was a good recommendation, as the fit of the shoe is more comfortable. The shoe is a little stiff at first, but it quickly gets broken in and makes for ease of walking and comfort when walking, which is what I use this shoe mostly to do. I think it's a great looking shoe and is very versatile with either shorts, jeans, or chino type pants. It will definitely be a wonderful addition to your footwear collection. The holes on the side add a nice feature of ventilation. Overall, a great buy for a classic and iconic pair of shoes, which look and feel great on your feet.

This is my first pair of Stan Smiths and I can see why these have never gone out of style. Clean, minimalist design, very comfortable out of the box although I add inserts for more arch support. On the foot looking down, all you see is a simple white pair of sneakers because the splash of color in the back is only seen by others. I also like the refreshing simplicity of the 3 lines of ventilation on the side instead of the usual 3 stripe Adidas logo.
These look great - I really like the style. I have many pairs of Adidas at home and have always been happy with their design and quality. However, these are only have average comfort for some reason. I was TRULY disappointed with the quality of materials. The tag says leather, but these are either the cheapest quality of leather I have ever seen or the best quality plastic! For the price these shoes sell for I was expecting something much better. Needless to say, I returned these to the store.
Bought these Stan Smith trainers for my son as part of his Christmas. He asked specifically for these as he finds them so comfy. Because they are black the go with any denims or jogging bottoms.
I bought the Black Stan Smiths for my daughter, as that’s all she wears are Adidas Stan Smihs. Quality is always good. They fit her true to size. Delivery was quick & a great price from ASOS.
Overall fine, especially at the sale price, but they were noticeably shorter in length than when the same model had been purchased previously. In my wife's excitement to throw away the packaging and wear them outside, a return wasn't really feasible.Also wish they'd bring back real leather uppers; there's clearly a market for fake leather for those that are happy with an inferior product for the sake of their conscience, or just because they don't care what they wear, but especially considering that there's no apparent cost benefit to having fake leather, the original leather uppers would be a highly appreciated reintroduction to the range.
Barring the fact that they run a bit small, and that the vegan leather, although decent-enough (would genuinely pass for leather if not paying attention), can't compete with proper leather, these trainers are a pretty solid buy. Worth waiting for a voucher code or sales, as the full price is a bit ambitious (would be worth it for proper leather, just-about). Bought them for my wife, who wanted these specifically, but if it were down to me, I'd probably shop around for something with better material for the uppers, and better value for money.
