This is my second time buying these shoes because I wore my first pair until they were practically falling off my feet. I absolutely love these shoes! They are the perfect combination of insanely comfortable yet fashionable. These shoes are my go-to sneakers and never let me down so I would say they are worth every penny. I even convinced my roommate to try a pair herself and she was really reluctant with the price but now she's hooked! They are comfortable, durable, protective, and fashionable! Ideal for someone who is constantly on their feet like myself.The shoes run alittle big so I got a size down. I usually wear a 7 and 1/2 in sneakers however I bought these in a 6 and 1/2 and they fit great! Would highly recommend.

I started breaking them in, which I never had to do with the previous shoes, but these never broke in. They consistently make my feet bleed when walking, which never happened with my previous pair. They're not as comfortable. I don't know if Adidas has changed the make of these shoes or Nordstrom sold me a good knock-off but I'm really sad that I spent $100 on shoes that I thought would last me more years and that I can barely wear now.

I'm reposting this review because I cannot find my recent review on this product. I'm very disappointed with these shoes. I purchased the same model 4 or 5 years ago and was very happy. The previous shoes did not even have to be broken in and they were durable.These new shoes have been worn for weeks and have not broken in yet. They caused my the back of my foot to get ripped up and I had to walk around with bandages. They caused my toes to be in pain from hitting the sides. After I wore them for a couple of weeks and could not wear them any more because they were killing me, my mother started wearing them and they killed her toes, too. I don't know if Adidas changed how they make this model of shoe or if Nordstrom sent me a knock-off but these were awful.
I bought these for a 7hr Sneaker Ball and these were a hit. They were extremely comfortable for being on my feet all night. They are true to size. I read previous reviews and they stated the shoes ran big so I ordered a size smaller and what a mistake that was. I sent the smaller size back and ordered my normal size. Great Buy! Love my Black with the White shell and sole Stan Smiths.
My first pair of Superstars, and really liking the unique floral design (color: White/ Power Red)... Although Sizing is tricky as everyone mentions. You have to try it yourself as feet and personal comfort differ. I'm normally womens 8-1/2, and I tried both 7 and 7-1/2 based on the reviews. The 7 fit okay, and they felt comfortable standing, but when I walked, my toes pushed forward and feeling a bit pinched. I was worried it would hurt after walking awhile, especially because I plan to walk a lot in these. The toe area is the tougher rubber so there really isn't much give there. The 7-1/2 fit much better with room to wiggle my toes a bit. For both sizes, I also had to loosen the laces a bit to fit my foot. The size guide said size down and I was nervous but they fir perfect and they are so cute. These shoes go with everything and that how I've been wearing them, with everything. Literally, they match with every color. I will be buying more in different styles.
Bought these for my 12 year old! She absolutely loves them and is always saying how comfortable they are. I have a pair for myself that she kept trying to steal, so we got her her own pair and she loves them. They are so cute for a laid back vibe, a dress/skirt... they're super versatile.
Millennial here. Just had a baby and needed a new pair of comfy sneakers. Remembered loving my shell tops back in the day and decided to give them another try. Saw the fuzzy pink with the classic green and had to have, especially since as it happens I wear a lot of green, pink, and purple anyway. These fit like a dream. Happy to have them back.
Exactly as the headline says. These are comfortable shoes that last about as long as poor quality shoes normally do. That is: 2 years. You say “preposterous! That’s plenty long for a sneaker!” I respond: “Only because most shoes have generally seen a steep decline in quality to stay abreast of fast-fashion trends. A shame- given the classic design.” My recommendation: if you can- spend the extra money on a quality pair of sneakers (eg. sewn together vs glued) it’s less expensive in the long run.
