This was my first time trying a hiking specific shoe from Adidas. This particular hiker also seems to be Adidas foray into sustainable products as these shoes are made from recycled materials and have "End Plastic Waste" emblemized on the box. Now onto the shoe! I wore these on groomed hiking trails and I really appreciated the cushioning and how light they were on my feet. My go-to hikers are bit heavier in comparison and have a stiffer sole. I didn't do any rock scrambling though, but I think they would be great since they're so light. I always worry about the width of shoes since I require a wide toe box area and these shoes accommodated my foot very well since they look very similar to Adidas running shoes so the material is a bit more forgiving. There is also a small ankle liner to keep small pebbles out which was nice. When it starts raining around here, I can't wait to see how waterproof these shoes are on the trail!

The Boost™ midsoles are impressively comfortable for miles of walking or biking Chicago streets. My feet have plenty of room to wiggle around, ordered 1/2 size larger than my street size for winter socks. Glad I had the space as winter socks are required to keep my feet warm in the cold. Regular cotton or crews socks are not enough. Must have tall socks, over the ankle or mid shin as the fabric upper is rough and quickly created a wound from friction with my Achilles area. Athletic look and function, easy to jog in when catching a bus or train!

Never judge a book by it’s cover! These shoes looked like moon shoes when I saw them in the box! Boy oh boy once I had them on I fell like I was walking on the moon! Superrrrrr comfy, my only complain would be that they are kinda of wide and run a little bigger. My solution was a thicker sock because I have about a finger gap. I did 20 miles on these bad boys and I love them! I can’t wait to wear them once it starts raining! I ran/ hiked/ walked and my feet didn’t hurt at all! I’m a trail runner/ hiker. I recommend if you can try them at the store do so for size purposes. Enjoy ;)

High comfort + high performance
13 February 2022

I was searching for a good pair of GTX trail shoes that I could also wear in the urban environment and these matched my needs perfectly. My friend who also owns a pair of terrex's said they're the most comfortable shoes she's ever owned. I myself have always had a positive experience with Adidas regarding comfort and performance. Great fit, true to size with this model. Already tested them on a 3 hour hike of mixed terrain - I am super super happy with my purchase.

Hiked through Arches National Park and Zion National Park without breaking these in and my feet did not hurt or bother me once my whole trip. I wear adidas running shoes (size 10), I did ordered a half size up from my normal shoe size to be able to wear thicker socks and they fit perfectly. Even with regular daily socks they also fit just fine! Super comfortable, light weight, and durable. I was a little concerned about the ankle support because the shoe is thinner at the top, however once I put the shoe on my worries went away! If anyone has hiked Arches, you know part of the hike to Delicate Arch is on a smooth rock, this shoe gave me great grip, I didn't slip once or even feel my foot shift once from losing contact. I would totally buy these again in another color!!

I own four pair of these shoes and my wife has always admired them but claimed to never have the “need” to own a pair for herself. When she told me she needed a comfortable pair of waterproof boots, I surprised her with her first pair and she lives in them. She wears them to work for high hustle days and hits the trails on weekends. They hold up so well against the elements and are so comfortable she wants additional pairs in different colors.I’ve created a monster.

Takes Some Breaking In

These hiking shoes have great tread and feel stabilizing when on trails with loose rocky terrain. The ankle part is tight, so right out of the box I thought they may be a little uncomfortable, but having worn them for a couple hikes now, they've relaxed just enough that my ankle still feels stable but nothing is digging into my bones. I got the paler, more colorful version and they're definitely fun. They get dirty, but I don't mind; trail cred. They fit true to size, so if you wear thick socks on your hike then get yourself a half size up.

I had been searching for these shoes as a Christmas present, I waited until the last minute to buy them. I literally looked online for day and I couldn?t afford to get them or find the right size. I finally came across these and thought it?s had to be a mistake or maybe it would come in a damaged box or something. I was very pleasantly surprised, the shoes shipped out the best day and the shoes and the box were in pristine condition, brand new. My partner loved them! I?m very happy with my experience and will definitely buy from them again

My girlfriend loved them. They’re so confortable and perfect for little adventures, and they look great. I’ve used them in our last trip to Scotland, and I was very happy with them. Haven’t tested them in long harsh hiking conditions, but you’ll probably need something a bit more robust than this. But for every normal hike, they’re great.
