The adidas Ultra Boost 20 Black Gold White is one of the many Ultra Boost 20 colorways that has been released. This one features an upscale look and feel thanks to the colors used to create it. This particular adidas Ultra Boost 20 had a black Primeknit upper with gold accents that really jumped out against the black backdrop. The gold accents were used on the Three Stripes as well as the Fitcounter heel counter to make them pop. A white Boost midsole was also worked into the mix to contrast the black and gold details found elsewhere. This adidas Ultra Boost 20 took on a regal appearance because of the colors on it, but it's the fit of the shoe that sealed the deal for our experts. The adidas Ultra Boost 20 Black Gold White was released on March 12, 2020, for $180.

I thought I already completed a review, but here it is again. As stated I am still having trouble figuring out how this works. I have placed bids on other sneakers and my bid is not only the highest, but it is also at least three (3X) the next bidder. There is no time frame when these bids close out. How long am I waiting on these sneakers?I see a pair I like. The highest bid is $50. I bid $150, but I don’t win? There needs to be a time frame on these auctions. I don’t care how long it is, but there truly needs to be an end time.

Ultra boost is pretty expensive to be a work shoe. It’s technically not a work shoe but that’s the purpose I used it for. The shoe looks pretty classic as I got the black and white pair. The boost feels amazing on feet. I work at retail where I have to walk pretty much entire shift and I felt so comfortable walking with the ultra boost. The shoe is a prime knit shoe so it only lasted me about a year or a bit more. But I didn’t wait to get another pair right after the knit started ripping towards to toes.

I absolutely love the Adidas Ultra Boost. Over the years, there have been numerous iterations of this model, and each one has consistently impressed me with its comfort and style. The Boost cushioning provides exceptional support and a plush feel with every step. However, despite the comfort, I've noticed that the outsole tends to wear out relatively quickly, especially with frequent use. Overall, the Ultra Boost remains a favorite for its superior comfort and performance.

Probably like many people, I was drawn to this shoe because of the flashiness of the midsole. The iridescent blues and purples demand your attention. The thing is, I’m not a flashy kind of guy, yet here I am rocking these. The iridescent midsole is contrasted with a deep black. It just screams “outer space!” This is a good thing since adidas is in collaboration with nasa to have this shoe worn by astronauts on the friggin’ International Space Station. It’s just an all-around good looking shoe.I can’t say if the 20% more ultra boost feels like more boost because I don’t have any previous models. I can say that these are the best shoes I have ever put on my feet. I have always been a fan of the UltraBoost series. I think everyone should have a pair of nice ultraboosts for a casual night out with friends. These are the coolest looking ones that I have seen, every time I wear them I get compliments about them! It has gotten to the point I wear them mainly on dates or when I want to impress people. Just like any white sneakers, they can easily get dirty. I would recommend buying a waterproof spray and spraying them a few times before use. They are also extremely comfortable! If I wasn't worried about them getting dirty, I would be wearing them all the time!
I've owned this shoe for a little over a month now, and I don't think I'll want to try another running shoe for awhile. The design of the shoe is beautiful, as the gold really stands out. The stripes on the side look painted on, and are only slightly imperfect. It's hard to tell unless you look at the shoe very closely. The shoe is a little heavier than my previous running/casual shoe, the Nike Flyknits. The tradeoff is fair, because the sole of the shoe absorbs a lot of impact while distance running on sidewalks. And it is not excessive for everyday wear in the office. My only other complaint thus far is that the tongue of the shoe can flip and fold downward, obscuring the logo. I had some severe pain from metatasalgia, a nasty condition that is causes pain in the ball of your foot. Every step can feel like you are stepping on a sharp pebble that feels like its stuck in your shoe.I had been wearing Skechers. Comfy but little to no support. I saw my foot doctor and her recommend trying different shoes and wearing a hard orthodic for support.I had heard alot about the comfort of Ultraboost and thought it was just hype. It is not hype. Its not even close Ultraboost is by far the most comfortable and cushioned shoe I have ever worn. The support is also really good.
I normally don’t review shoes unless I have a bad experience, and let me say my issue here is with Adidas and not with DSG. I am a long time Nike customer. I’ve been running for almost ten years. For personal reasons I decided to switch to Adidas and spend the extra money on the ultra boosts. For comparison, I’ve had Nike Frees last me 1-2 years for running (normally about 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week). My experience was mostly a disappointment.1. First of all, in comparison to most nikes, I found these shoes to be heavier. Not incredibly heavy like ASICS but I definitely noticed it while running. It makes the lightweight feeling from runners highs almost non existent to me. I really notice it on hills with how much more I have to pick up my feet in comparison to ... MoreI normally don’t review shoes unless I have a bad experience, and let me say my issue here is with Adidas and not with DSG. It makes the lightweight feeling from runners highs almost non existent to me. I really notice it on hills with how much more I have to pick up my feet in comparison to free run shoes.2. By far my biggest complaint, these shoes do not last. As I said, I’ve had frees with FOAM SOLES last longer than the rubber did on these. I expected to get at least a years worth of running out of these. I mean just looking at them they look well built and doing 2-4 miles a few times a week isn’t heavy lifting for a running shoe. I got them in December of 2020, and these are what the soles look like now. Thats way too short a road life for shoes that cost almost 200 dollars and aren’t even racing shoes. You would think the sole was built much better than comparable brands, but it’s not. It also took me almost 2 months to break in before I felt comfortable running in these, but that may have just been a “me” thing.3. Not sure if they’ve fixed this on other models or if this was a thing with how my feet are shaped (not that they’re abnormal) but I noticed that these shoes don’t stay around your heel unless you really tie them down. Over time I found a way to tie them to where my foot wasn’t cut off with circulation and was still decently locked into the shoe but I almost always had some kind of minor slipping feeling with my heel while running. I got used to it, and it’s not the end of the world, but that could be improved. All in all, my complaint centers on how Adidas charges you a premium for this shoe but does not deliver a premium product. I honestly have never been that disappointed by a product that I had high expectations for. At the 3 month mark I was ready to demand my money back due to discomfort, but I toughed it out hoping to get the durability in them and make it worth it. Not even 3 months later is when I noticed the serious wear and tear. Now it’s about to be August, about a month and a half later since I noticed the wear, and I’ve really tried to push it and give them a years worth of running. But I just can’t feel confident running in these wondering how much more damage they’ll get.I will likely go back to buying Nike’s again, even though I’d rather find another brand. Adidas really had a chance to deliver quality for the money, and I REEEEEALLY wanted to like these shoes, but I just couldn’t. After all of the time and effort, all I can say to people is if you want a running shoe, don’t go with these.
For the last 15 years I have only bought Adidas. It has been about 5 years since I last purchased a pair of sneakers as I wasn't wearing them very much before. I saw the design on these and had to have them. They are very comfortable and according to their size chart I am originally a size 7.5-8 so for these I ordered a size 6. They feet like a glove. I love the stretchiness of the top of the shoe and I really feel supported with the lightweight bottoms. The grip is also insanely good. I only gave 4 stars because the price at $180 a pair is a bit steep. I ended up getting them for around $100 and that is probably about what they are worth. Definitely read the size chart considering these are considering unisex.
Had one pair of runners for 4 years and they were perfect! They kept me going for runs every morning and dare I even say some checky night runs if I was feeling adventurous. The only thing after all those faithful years of amazing service to me that stopped this amazing relationship was the inner soles wore out, sadly it was time to retire them. But will these new shoes fill this empty black hole in my sole.... will I be ready to accept these new shoes into my life and move on? as my old pair would have wanted me to? So far after the 5 weeks or so of these new shoes they remind me of the good old days with my old pair, and while running the doggo or trying to go fast and beat the speed barrier I can be seen with a single tear running down my face..
