Typically I am in a Brooks or Asics shoe for running, but was looking for a shoe that was lighter weight and still had a level 4-5 cushion. This shoe was all of that but the toe box was too narrow. Returned :( and purchased Brooks!!

I am training for a very long walk (132 mi.) and I was searching for shoes that would not give me blisters. I love the glove like feeling. There is no rubbing of chaffing. I originally order 1/2 a size up as suggested by the website, but I returned the first pair for my regular size, because I thought the extra length might cause me to trip. If you are a runner you might prefer the extra length. The toe box is very comfortable. Every time I put these shoes on, I am so happy I bought them.

I was in love with the Adidas Energy Boost 2 that came out a few years ago in the highlighter yellow color (2014/2015). Didn't like the new version, and was pretty bummed that my favorite shoes were nowhere to be found. These remind me a lot of those! The only thing to get used to is the that the tongue isn't separate, so it feels a little more snug around the middle of the foot. Once you get used to that (and loosen the laces a bit) they are perfect. Also, LOVE this color.Academy in particular was very accommodating and ordered them for me online since they didn't have them at the store. I am a marathoner with a foot issue. Shocking, right?! I have tried so many shoes. I love the UltraBoost. I have a high arch and plantar issues (PF that lead to a plantar nerve impingement.) Was finally told to toss all the stability shoes and orthotic inserts (by a Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon) and try a cushy neutral shoe and let my foot do what feet are supposed to do. We went with the Asics Gel Nimbus. I really enjoyed the shoe but felt heavy and just like a whole lot of shoe! I still like that shoe but wanted something lighter and faster to alternate with. Tried the UltraBoost and seem to keep picking it over the Asics. I ran a pretty quick TRAIL half marathon in the UltraBoost yesterday and the ONLY reason I regret that decision is because now they are ... MoreI am a marathoner with a foot issue. Shocking, right?! I ran a pretty quick TRAIL half marathon in the UltraBoost yesterday and the ONLY reason I regret that decision is because now they are all muddy =) They did as well on the muddy, debris-strewn trail as they perform on the road. Though my plantar issues remain unresolved. My foot continues to very (verrrry) slowly improve as I run in these shoes. It did not bother me in the least during the race yesterday. Great shoe ... FANTASTIC shoe. I hope it holds up as it is a pricey shoe! I have run about 100 miles in them. Oh, I have a very narrow foot and if you do not, I would recommend trying them on first. They do seem maybe a bit narrower in the toe box from other shoes I have tried but they are just perfect for me! And man do they look cool!
I used this shoe for the longevity of the product before reviewing. I'm 5'2'', 135 lbs, marathoner, road run about 45 miles per week, 10 miles on treadmill per week. At first, you will love the feel of these shoes. They are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, let alone run in. The ultra boost foam technology is superb on treadmills and on the roads. My biggest two complaints are that I wore these shoes out at 205.4 miles. The foam is fully exposed in the heel area and is causing me knee pain from the first mile - a huge sign that the shoe is DONE. This is unacceptable. For what these shoes cost, I expect to get at least 300 miles on them before they cause any amount of discomfort. For what these shoes cost, I expect to get at least 300 miles on them before they cause any amount of discomfort. I also use Superfeet green insoles, which extend the life of my shoes, but they were irrelevant in this case. I feel like these shoes are meant for casual wear instead of actual running. Also, I have been running in them in the summer and they do not handle sweat well. I tried wearing them on my long runs, but after mile 9 or so, the sweat would cause my foot to "slide" in the shoe with every slight turn. I found that the traction inside the shoe itself was very poor - probably because of the "slip-on" design the shoe has. I recommend these shoes on the treadmill, but if you're running outdoors, they probably won't last very long.
These are unbelievable shoes, they are so incredibly comfortable and GREAT for long runs. I have been using Asics for years until I discovered these. I now own 3 pairs. The only con is that for running on anything but pavement/ treadmill, they are not stable enough for uneven surfaces. Because the top of the shoe is like a fitted sock, your foot moves on uneven surfaces. I will be getting something more stable for the rare occasion I run in grass or like I recently did, run through a Vineyard for a 5K. Other than that, I would recommend these to anyone I know!
I was so excited when I first tried these shoes on -- they fit like gloves (but gloves for my feet)! ;) They felt very cushiony and seamless, no rubbing, plenty of toe room, similar to the toe box in my Brooks Launches. I was happy running in them at first, other than the poor traction on wet, muddy surfaces, but they aren't advertised as trail shoes anyway. However, both of my Achilles tendons became tight after running in these awhile, and it was just getting worse after every run. I think these shoes are just too flexible for my feet, but they would be wonderful shoes for someone who needs that flexibility.
This is my second pair of Ultra Boost running shoes and have become one of my favorites second being Asics. My favorite features are the overall weight of the shoes along cushioning from the soles. Buying a half size up is recommended and most of my runs are treadmill miles.
My husband has these shoes and kept raving about them. The price is a little steep for me but decided to get them anyways. They are extremely comfortable and I love the style. Well worth it if you are a runner!!
The Mother's Day gift for the wife. After the initial disappointment of buying a pair of shoes for my wife as a gift, she begrudgingly put them on for our evening walk and said they were wonderful. She didn't like the look but could not argue with its level of comfort.
