However, when running on it it was a different story. I had considerable heel slip more on my right than left heel. I felt the weight of the shoe when picking up the pace to my normal zone 2 pace and when picking it up to marathon and tempo pace the boost cushioning feels flat and dead. It also felt clunky. When at jogging pace the shoes felt fine and could feel the boost cushioning. Overall not the cushioned daily trainer I expected and this version has leaned more towards the casual athleisure category. This is a great walker/jogger but as a shoe part of a rotation for training it's a hard pass. Really wanted to like this shoe but for what I bought it for it's a big disappointment and will be returning it.

These shoes cushion your feet. It feels like you have a supportive sock. You need to get use to this style. Firstly, you need to slip your feet into these. Then your feet and heat stretches the shoe to your perfect size. I did not get any blisters. These shoes are light. I feel like I am walking on air. Now I just slip these on easily. These are great for long distance running or walking. These are my go-to-distance shoes. I am blown away with these shoes. I bought these shoes in the yellow style as well, they are that good!!! Every time, I have ordered from Rebel, my deliveries arrive very quickly, which I appreciate greatly. I was fortunate to buy these shoes while they were on sale. I highly recommend these wonders.

Went on a few more shorter runs with a little discomfort but seemed to be getting better.Went on a 10 k run today and ended up with giant blisters on my pinky toes. I realized it had nothing to do with breaking them in and it’s a design flaw with that piece of rubber. Mind you I had socks on too. A very expensive lesson for me. As I normally running a minimum of 10k per run this has never been an issue for me with any other running shoe I’ve ever bought. Would love to get a refund to buy something better for the amount of money I paid.

I Don't Reccomend the Adidas Ultra Boost 21
10 August 2021

I run from 1 to 1.5 hours daily and have for about 50 years. I buy two pairs of shoes at a time, rotate them daily, and replace them with another pair in about three months. I have worn Adidas exclusively for about 30 years. The Ultra Boost 21 is the most uncomfortable Adidas shoe I have worn. I blame the thick plastic "plates" housing the eyelets through which the shoelaces run. With little effort, the edges of the plates could be filed to a knife's blade sharpness. They are that thick. They are so thick that they inflexible, probably by design. And, other than hold the eyelets for the shoelaces, their only function seems to be to cause the upper parts of my feet to hurt. These shoes are miserable to wear. I am stubborn, so I am going to wear them for three months. ... MoreI run from 1 to 1.5 hours daily and have for about 50 years. I do not recommend this shoe.

Not my favorite Ultraboost version
28 December 2021

I had the Ultraboost 19 and 20 prior to this one, and I had some initial pain from the rough inner part of the toe box that hits my toes. I had major blisters on the tops of my toes that I didn’t have in previous years versions of the Ultraboost. The 19 and 20 were so much more comfortable and had no break in period. Also, I bought the all-Grey version and I think the non-white boosts are not as cushiony or as comfortable as the white-soled boosts. I hope adidas fixes this for the 2022 version.

These shoes will hurt your feet
15 April 2022

I brought 2 pairs of these ultraboost 21 running shoes because I did enjoy the ultraboost 20 without any problems. These ultraboost 21 and 22 with that back of the sole being better and the shoe more narrow in the front I'm time will cause your feet to hurt and probably end up with metatarsaliga just like I did from using these shoes. I hope this review helps people from not hurt their feet. I would not recommend buying these shoes.

This model falls short (or long)
12 October 2021

I'm a fan of ultra boost tech, have had every model and decided to buy this one on sale. When it first arrived I was super excited to try them on. Out the box, my first impression was that it seemed to follow previous models and was made from solid materials, once on foot my feelings changed. Super comfortable, light weight but LONG. Mens size 8 looked more like a 10. The silhouette was more like a clown shoe paired with a huge heel and I just couldn't keep them.

Tighter fit than before, packaging was unacceptable
5 February 2022

I love Ultraboost, they're very comfortable and durable. This time, however, this pair I received felt cheaply made. The shoe felt a lot narrower and tighter than my previous Ultraboosts and the bottom of the shoe does not look as durable. Also, I am very disappointed with Dick's Sporting Goods packaging. They came in a broken box and the shoes were clearly worn. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I am definitely not going to buy from Dick's Sporting goods again.

Totally confused!
3 April 2021

I’ve worn Nike and Brooks for years. Decided I was going to try something new. Heard great things about the Adidas Ultraboost so bought a pair online. One of the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. It looks comfortable but it’s not. Minimal cushion and narrow mid section. However, the weirdest thing is that it felt like your foot would sink a bit but the arch stayed firm. I wore these inside for about 10 mins and my arch’s were aching. I am not flat footed and have been wearing regular shoes for years. Just an all around uncomfortable show. So confused as to why so many people like them. Makes me wonder if they have ever tried a pair of Nike Pegasus or Brooks Ghost. They’re like walking on clouds. Bought my 5th pair of Nike Pegasus’s btw. Best model yet!

Worst shoe made by adidas in comfort wise
8 September 2021

We had bought two pair of this item one for my wife and one for myself . The shoe is so uncomfortable that it grips your foot and makes it too tight and you are not able to keep it on. We bought it as we thought it would be better then the previous one but no its useless and not worth buying. The worst upon that is the customer care who do not give any s..t about customers comfort and health. We being both over 50 found it so uncomfortable that we are still happy with our old shoes. A total waste of money.
