I am a long time Hoka user because of the cushion. I am use to ordering half a size up from my street shoe size for the Hoka. I wear an 8.5 in a street shoe so I ordered a 9 for these Adidas. I think I should have ordered an 8.5. My big toes are three quarters of an inch from the end of the shoes. I'm keeping them anyway. As soon as I put them on I was sold. My heels do not slip in and out of the shoes...not even a 1/16 of an inch. The material hugs across the top of my foot. The cushion under my heels is substantial but firm, not marshmallowy. I 100% of the time wear socks in my running shoes, but I believe that anyone looking to go sockless could do so with zero worries about blisters because of the huggability of the shoe. Oh my god! I had some pretty bad tendinitis symptoms and I was wearing my most comfy sketchers shoes and everything but the pain was unbearable until I got these! I wore these shoes for maybe 2-4 days and bam, no more foot pains or tendon pains and now that I’ve worn them for over two weeks, I have no pain in my foot at all anymore! It was really hard to walk in general with my pain (with and without shoes) but these helped my foot SO MUCH that I just bought a second pair! They don’t feel like you’re on a “cloud”, but what a huge difference you’d feel if you wore your old shoes and then these on one foot. I love these 10/10

I did quite a bit of research before making this purchase. The negatives I was concerned with ended up being validated. Wearing these after wearing brooks was not a good idea. The shoe is very heavy. With it being made of recycled plastic, the fabric does feel a little thick compared to the competition; this causes a lot of inner moisture. The midsole gets most of its height in the heel, the forefront is extremely lacking. It feels like there’s no support. I feel like I can feel the floor beneath my toes and after a few hours, my feet are paying the price. I believe a good pair of insoles may supplement what’s lacking.

It has been over a decade since a last ran on Adidas cause I always found their fit too narrow. I tried the UB 21 and surprisingly it fit me well. The Prime Blue material is top notch and good quality and stretchy. One of the draws to me for trying this shoe was aesthetics and in my opinion the best looking running shoe out right now. However, when running on it it was a different story. I had considerable heel slip more on my right than left heel. I felt the weight of the shoe when picking up the pace to my normal zone 2 pace and when picking it up to marathon and tempo pace the boost cushioning feels flat and dead. The bounce goes away and I didn't feel any responsiveness or pop from the plate on the bottom. The bounce goes away and I didn't feel any responsiveness or pop from the plate on the bottom. It actually felt the opposite like I was fighting the shoe just to get a quicker turnover. It also felt clunky. When at jogging pace the shoes felt fine and could feel the boost cushioning. Overall not the cushioned daily trainer I expected and this version has leaned more towards the casual athleisure category. This is a great walker/jogger but as a shoe part of a rotation for training it's a hard pass. Really wanted to like this shoe but for what I bought it for it's a big disappointment and will be returning it.
Got these on the hope they would work for my “problem” feet! I called to make sure I could wear them and return if necessary. Customer service was extremely friendly and very helpful! Said absolutely I could try them and if they didn’t work it was no problem to return! I was relieved and gave them a shot! I am soooo glad I did - love them! They have a wide toe box, no pressure points that hurt and though I am very small and thin, I have bunions, hammertoes, neuropathy etc... but I am very active and burn a lot of calories every day! These shoes work! Hooray for Nordstrom!
I run from 1 to 1.5 hours daily and have for about 50 years. I buy two pairs of shoes at a time, rotate them daily, and replace them with another pair in about three months. I have worn Adidas exclusively for about 30 years. The Ultra Boost 21 is the most uncomfortable Adidas shoe I have worn. I blame the thick plastic "plates" housing the eyelets through which the shoelaces run. With little effort, the edges of the plates could be filed to a knife's blade sharpness. They are that thick. They are so thick that they inflexible, probably by design. And, other than hold the eyelets for the shoelaces, their only function seems to be to cause the upper parts of my feet to hurt. These shoes are miserable to wear. I am stubborn, so I am going to wear them for three months. ... MoreI run from 1 to 1.5 hours daily and have for about 50 years. I do not recommend this shoe.
I don’t think I have anything particular about my feet that makes them high maintenance—no high or low arches nor are they wide. So I was shocked, not to mention extremely disappointed, when these were not comfortable out of the box, especially because of everything I read about how comfortable they are. I intended these for my commute, which includes walking to/from Metro. I log about 40 minutes of walking and another 40 of standing a day as part of my commute. My feet actually hurt at the end of the day. No blisters or anything. The shoes were not supportive, not comfortable, and definitely not like walking on clouds.
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and great for working out or just every day wear. I purchased the Ash Pearl/Hazy Rose and it's a beautiful neutral color. I only have two cons to note: 1) Sizing: I'm usually between a 6.5 and 7 in all shoes. However, I'm consistently a 6.5 in the Adidas Ultraboost 20. I initially purchased the Ultraboost 21 in a 6.5 and they fit, but were cramped in the toes. I imagine they would hurt after a full workout or run. I exchanged for a 7 and they fit much better. So I suggest sizing up a half size. 2) Bulky: These provide a lot of comfort and support, which means they can look a bit bulky. They may look quite wide, but the comfort is totally worth it.
I love these sneakers! They are super comfortable and look nice on my feet. They don’t make my feet look too big. I say they run true to size as I am normally a size 7-7 1/2 in all shoes. I almost purchased a 7 1/2 but now I’m so glad I didn’t because they would definitely have been much too large so I would say order your exact size remembering that they do run a bit large. For reference I wear a size 8.5 in The North Face Vectiv sneakers. If I had gotten a size 8.5 in these I would have been sending them back. They feel very cushiony but supportive on my feet all day, I am a kindergarten teacher assistant and am on my feet moving around all day long. I have bad ankles and feet, (I am 5’3 165lbs) normally my heels hurt terribly and my feet just ache all over by the end of the day, and especially over the tops of my feet, ankles, and heels but with these shoes I am comfortable with very minor aching feet, if at all. They are cushiony but still have a medium arch support (I have very high arches). I tried replacing the insoles with some I already have that work for my high arches but I found that I really don’t need them as the arch support is adequate enough. I like to leave the original insoles in new sneakers if I can so I’m not changing the flow of the actual sneaker and how it was made.I have found that if I tie them too tightly my upper feet go numb but I think that applies with most sneakers, I just thought I’d mention it. It doesn’t happen if I tie them regularly. That being said, I am able to tie them regular tightness and they are not falling off my feet. They are not too long on the ends so I’m not tripping over my feet all day. I get a lot of compliments on them by random strangers. They stay tied and do not come loose while I’m moving around. They are breathable on top and my feet do not sweat a lot. They are easy to clean (I got the white and black with majority of white). Overall I’m super pleased with this purchase and I would definitely recommend them and would purchase again.
These are the WORST sneaker I’ve ever tried. They cut off circulation and gave me a large bruise on the top of my foot. Adidas needs to stop making so many versions of ultra boost abs go back to the 2020 version- there has been nothing as good since then. Stop making the back so high and allow one to adjust the laces!!! These give absolutely no arch support. Awful.
