I have been trying to find an ultra boost to replace my ultra boost uncaged - which have been the most comfortable shoe I ever owned. They no longer make them. I tried the new ultra boost 20 and they are very uncomfortable in the heel. So I looked to these DNA ultra boost. I loved the look, and initially felt pretty good, but after wearing them for a few hours, they were simply too snug and my feet began to hurt; I typically like the snug sock feel, but it was really snug and the base was too narrow and just not as comfortable. I’m not sure what has changed over the last two models, but feel like they are going backwards. For the right persons feet, these look great and have the potential to feel amazing, but don’t work for my feet. Had to return them.

For Christmas I got him pairs two and three. He goes through shoes so fast because he where’s them to the ballfield and inevitably ends up out on the clay. They are gentle on his toes. He had a bunion removed a few years ago and then corrective surgery two years ago so he needs a large toe box.

New favorite shoe. Sooo comfortable and cushioning feels amazing. I’m so confused when people complain here about the shoe not fitting them right or being too narrow, etc? Obviously every shoe won’t be perfect for everyone, all people have different feet. Don’t blame the shoe, you just don’t have the right feet for it and should probably be trying shoes on at the store.

Ive own the original ultra boost, and 3.0 and now the 4.0, These have more support within prime-knit then the 3.0 but for me the 3.0 are the softest, 3.0 are easy to slip the shoes on while the newer 4.0 have more support around the top of the shoe by the ankle kinda like the O.G 1.0 which make them a little hard to slip on(need to use the heel pull tab or a shoehorn) but stiffer and more supported for running and working out. The 4.0 are kinda like the O.G 1.0 and 3.0 meshed together style wise with patterns and all. I love all the ones Ive own so far but for comfort my 3.0 are the comfiest but these 4.0 will work well for less laxed activities. I could go on and on about the differences but these are nice shoes with nice updates. The original energy boosts cage hurt my feet after a couple of hours on feet from being so narrow and the prime-knit upper wasnt developed yet. I have wider feet so that was probably the cause and why I love the softness of the 3.0 the most.
This is the second pair of these I’ve purchased. I have a slightly wider foot, however the 10 D fits perfect. As the first person indicated, they are originally snug to get your foot into the shoe, however this loosens up over time and has never been a problem for me. I’m OCD, especially with proper fitting clothes and shoes. This is one of my favorite and most comfortable I’ve ever owned. I use for running or casual look with shorts and a nice shirt. Legit!
Bought these shoes for our son who is 13 and he absolutely love the comfort, color and design. Two days in and $200 later, completely destroyed. They cannot handle any type of abuse, so unless you’re using them in the gym only, dont buy
I’ve been waiting to get my hands on these for a long time now and I have to say, the wait was well worth it. These are the most comfortable Adidas I’ve ever worn, but they’re all comfortable with their Cloudfoam tech. I want to grab the white colorway next, but the black ones are just as perfect. I promise you won’t be disappointed in this shoe!
Everybody the red/white color way of these shoes look like tampons. I have them just for the giggles. Please buy them because I think it’s really funny when I see somebody in public with them on. It’s usually high school boys wearing them and I don’t have the heart to say it to these kids’ faces.
Very comfortable shoe, though expensive. Looks good with pretty much anything you wear. Seem to hold up well. I am happy with the purchase. I'm not a big fan of supporting Dicks, however since they have definitely adopted ideas that go far beyond my beliefs. They do not value conservatism.
Why are adidas doing hard to put on now a days? I have always bought my son adidas and these last couple years it is so hit or miss?!? If you struggle with the shoe so much you damage the back and end up returning them bc the material gets kinked what’s the point?! Recently Nike has come out with shoes for people with special needs where you don’t need to bend or use your hands, these shoes are definitely going the other way
