The adidas Ultra Boost DNA Black Gold is a running shoe with a core black and gold metallic color scheme. A product of innovation, this minimal design shoe features a Primeknit textile upper which helps with its ventilation. The upper of this shoe contains at least 50% natural and renewable materials, notably Lyocell, a fabric constructed out of cellulosic fibers from sustainably grown wood. The dyeing technique used in its preparation is also sustainable. This upper is anchored by a stretchweb outsole crafted using Continental Better rubber. The outsole features bumps underneath to improve the shoe’s traction. Although a majority of this shoe is in black, it features metallic gold touches on the midfoot cage strips, heel molds, and insole graphics. The adidas Ultra Boost DNA Black Gold made its way into the market on 2nd January 2020. At the time, this running shoe commanded a retail price of $180.
