It has one significant design fail. In order to install the top screw you have to push the plunger nearly all the way down. So unless you can take your door out and install it then, you're left with only about 5mm play and if your floor is uneven like mine is, it's not enough. It now catches only on the high spots and even there it doesn't really hold the door. Seems like the rubber foot is pretty hard and it just glides on my polished timber floor.

Bad design, hole wears out and stops holding, my first fix was file the top landing to allow the stop jam plate to grab, now the locking plate hole is oval and no longer holds, soft material I say why it fails.. Last 1.5 years.

Works well enough for the price and very easy to install
Looks good, and holds the door well. But harder to release the plunger than it should be. Was also harder to install the top screw than it should be.
Installed about a year ago. Mechanism has worn out already and no longer locks down. Also don't use the supplied mounting screws. They are extremely low quality and may snap during installation.
Flawed design - to install, it has to be fully extended. If not fully extended, the top screw hole is blocked. This means the stopper foot can touch the floor only lightly. I might as well have installed a feather - makes no difference to my door. Bunnings range is dominated by this 'brand' - today I've installed four items from this range, three of which are clearly made-for-landfill products from the start, so I'm now just waiting for the fourth to fail.
