Advil provides temporary relief of pain and discomfort from headaches, period pain, sore throats, back pain, dental pain, cold and flu muscle pain, and arthritis, as well as reduces fever. They are fast acting, 23% smaller than standard tablets, and absorbed faster than standard ibuprofen tablets. For use by adults and children from 12 years and over, take 1 or 2 capsules, swallowed whole with water, as needed. Repeat dose if necessary after 4 to 6 hours, but do not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours. Always read the label and use only as directed. Before use, seek medical advice if you have asthma or are taking other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatory medications.
