To be honest I did not have great expectations when I bought this compressor. I did not think two 18V batteries could even drive a compressor. As a Sparky I know the current required to drive a compressor is relatively high. WOW! I was surprised. This compressor is amazing. It has a really small form factor and footprint. It runs off one OR two 18V AEG batteries. I use two 4Ah or two 5Ah batteries as a set for this compressor. I can wrap 10m of hose around the compressor and still easily carry it around. So far I have used this compressor to blow out holes for masonry anchors, inflate 4WD tyres, run the airbrush and clean steel and timber shavings off the job. This tool is remarkable. The compressor only takes the time to walk out to the item where its needed and it's ready to go. Great addition to my tool kit/

Compact and powerful compressor. Works hard and does everything I need it to do! It keeps up with high air demand and has a long run time.

A highly portable, compact and cordless 18v compressor that runs on one or two batteries. Have used to run my 90mm framing nail gun and 18 gauge fixing nail gun with no problems. It's not designed for continuous nailing, you need a larger compressor for that, but perfect for fixing out. Also use for pumping up tyres on vehicles, wheel barrows, trolley's etc. Not a fan to have to couple the hose on an upward angle. Bring your earmuffs.
Whilst the unit is light and compact it cannot keep up with a finishing nailer (15g ). At full capacity it can fully drive around 5 x 32mm nails, then it just hasn't got the power to keep fully driving. Maybe the cut in pressure is to low. To continue using I had to let air out to get it to pump up again. I used it to fit around 10 meters of 12mm tri quad and tried on a few skirts. I ended up returning it
This is the second I have bought, the first just stopped working and when I went back to the store I bought it form was told no receipt for purchase, not interested. The first suited my purpose and have registered this one for warranty
This little beauty is great and it has the goods to work, as I do not need a lot of air and most certainly don't need to cart around a big compressor but this little ripper dose all that I need pump up tires in the middle of no where blow dust and dirt out of filters great unit
I bought this as I needed a small air compression to take away when travelling in our motorhome and for minor jobs around the house. Todebrisok 50 mins to discharge teh first 5Ahj batteries for the "run in" recommendation. Sure not under load but still excellent run time. Currently using on my workbench to provide air when cleaning my garden power tools of debris and it provides good pressure in the short times I need it.
THIS COMPRESSOR IS SO MUCH GREATER THAN ITS SIZE! FOR YEARS I HAVE HAD TO USE A MAINS POWER COMPRESSOR AND ALWAYS HAD DIFFICULTIES FINDING MAINS POWER, NOT TO MENTION LONG LEADS AND THE WEIGHT AND SIZE OF THE MAINS POWER UNIT.THIS LITTLE COMPRESSOR DOES EVERYTHING I HAVE ASKED OF IT. IT JUST KEEPS ON RUNNING WITHOUT PRESSURE LOSS. THE BATTERIES MUST BE MATCHED AND 2 * 6AH BATTERIES HAVE NEVER RUN OUT.EASE OF USE, LIGHT WEIGHT IT JUST SELLS ITSELF.The old mains power compressor stays in the shed now.
I use it pump up my 4WD tyre on the beach, it is much quicker than my previous pump. I use 2 X6A battry, which can pump up at least 8 tyres from 15PSI to 27PSI.
