I specifically purchased 2 of these Force Batteries to achieve more power out of my brand new 9 inch AEG Brushless Grinder. I personally think the Force Batteries gave my grinder AT LEAST 20% more power!

There are some good reviews here but I am quite disappointed with the performance of the AEG 18V Pro 6.0Ah battery. Charges up to 4 lights and goes flat on 2 lights. Only 10 months old and charged maybe 40 times. Seems a lot to pay $189 to replace it.

Good sized battery, especially for the more power hungry tools. Free via redemption made the value unbeatable.
I've replaced my old school Hitachi gear (12 tools) with AEG after months of research...... Every bit of gear is heavy duty! Am using 'force' gear and am pleasantly suprised how good this stuff is. As an ABN holder, if any of my gear fails, a rep shows up to site and replaces item.......6 years! No other brand can come close to that sort of service. That is showing AEG has faith in its tools!!
The new 6ah force batteries are far superior to my old 6ah batteries. The extra power is great, and when overloaded on the grinder etc the batterie will self reset unlike the old ones that would need to be slid off and clipped back in place, great new feature. Looking forward to trying out the 9ah model!
It lasts long enough for getting the job done at almost full potential until the end. It just starts dropping to lower potential in the last 10% of the battery charge.
I have been using 2 of the old style Pro Li 6.0Ah batteries with an AEG Fusion Reciprocating Saw to cut through some gnarly palm tree roots and other buried roots - very very tough going.The old style batteries would thermal or over-current shutdown well before they ran out of power, even from fully charged.This new Force battery goes hard up until it runs out of juice, packing more punch and without thermal or over-current throttling. The result, I can run this single Force battery for longer than 2 of the old style batteries during high load operation.Only downside is the cost, but it's worth having one for the tough jobs!Note, it's a touch longer than the Pro Li style but not noticeably heavier.
Pretty good batteries, the only real issues with them are the clips seem to not be very hard wearing and break after a while. Also very low water resistance
Living on a three acre property with amazing views over the Tamar river and valley to the mountains on the eastern side of the river is as close to heaven as you can get without leaving this life.The one flaw has been the annual pruning and tidying up of the many trees on our boundaries and in our orchard.Previously this was a task which took a few days of chainsawing. Almost as an afterthought I brought the new “gadget” along to try it out.Which I did and to my great surprise discovered that in an hour the annual task, which I had been dreading, was completed.No deafening noise , no fuel spills, minimal time to clean the saw afterwards and no risk to my life or limbs.My first thought afterwards was a sense of disbelief at how easy it was to use the saw.My second was to be annoyed at myself for not purchasing one of these sooner.Does anyone have a use for my now redundant chainsaw, one careful owner.
