I have been using the AEG impact wrench in a commercial environment with lots of cycles but fairly light duty....and it's going strong after about two years...I think AEG have got their price/performance/quality ratio right on song.I also like the ability to buy spare parts for a refurbish when required...which I've just done on their earlier 18V "brushed" cordless drill/ hammer drill...replacing the clutch cap has freshened up an old tool... in other words you can extend the life cycle of an older tool....so they are definetly not throw away...and they stand up well before needing a refurb.

I bought this wrench over a month ago now, I can only fault one thing. The sirclip that holds the sockets in place is so strong or slightly over size that I have had to use a screw driver a few times to pry the socket off enough to remove by hand. Other than that, great wrench and plenty of power.

Brought to do a certain job. i use it to more on the farm faster and easier than before. Happy with the Impact Wrench along with additional 6 yr warranty gives me a real peice of mind
For the size and weight of this tool it needs at least 3x the torque it has. A 1/2" impact wrench this size should have well over 1,000Nm of nut bustting torque. It only has 360Nm which is really low. Yes the price is not bad, but an air powered impact wrench half this size already has more than double the nut busting torque.
Works great, only downside is some hard on bolts will need to be loosened by hand first, needs a little more grunt.
Very powerful wrench , it’s not a joke high performance. I wish would have different settings to mange power and speed like fusion models have so I could use this to work on cabinets as well or just small things which you can do it but would be a bit too much power. This tools has no hesitation very precise very well calibrated as the light is very powerful which is very convenient to work at night or in dark places. Besides, the weight is pretty decent .
Had this for a few years now and it has never let me down. The only reason it is not five stars is due to the lower amount of torque it has compared to its rivals. This unit is great for a mechanic or tyre fitter but does not have the right amount of “Ugga Duggas” for heavy industry ( 36 and 41mm sockets)I am aware there is the brushless model so I am probably being a little harsh, however if people are reading these reviews and it makes them think they may need to pay extra for the next model up, then that’s a good thing.
Powerful and terrific value as i already have a number of 18V Li batteries for AEG tools. Happily fired in LAG other construction bolts for ages. It removed old ones in a wooden construction with no issues. Downside: Cannot remove wheel nuts at 110NM (on the car for a while) which would have been nice, but i didn't get it primarily for this. It may remove newly tightened ones. Recomended.
bought for work up North servicing dump trucks , first AEG user in workshop .Found tool to be too big to get into tight areas to undo small bolts . Other brands have smaller high power models which get into tight spaces. new model BSS18C12ZB6-0 a better option and will buy . value for money high
