Great piece of kit. Very happy with the power of this drill it’s a replacement for a $1000 corded drill ( not an AEG) I have used AEG cordless tools for 15 years and I’m still using the original 2 first tools I bought which are still going as good as new. They are used every day. Can’t stop them.

Hammer mechanism almost non-existent. The manual contains no written instructions other than read the manual. The drill fell apart the second time I used it. Now I have a 10 day wait (minimum) to see if it is covered by warranty on return. I previously owned a Makita hammer drill for almost 20 years. Lesson learned.

The power of the rotary hammer drill exceeded my expectations. I bought this drill about a month ago and have been amazed by its versatility! Not only great for drilling masonry for anchors, but even great for breaking up concrete! (I had an unexpected job to do and didn't have my usual concrete breaking tools at hand).
18V SDS+ Rotary drill set has extended my ability to work on sites with concrete surfaces. It now is way easier to get the work done faster and easier with long lasting batteries.
I bought my first AEG 18v tool about 8 months ago. I had been using another company for my power tools and thought I would never change. I can honestly say I was blown away by the versatility of these tools, and I now own over 14 different AEG products . I bought the SDS drill a couple of months ago, and what this drill can do is amazing, masonry or timber is no match for this drill, the power and functionality is unbeatable and unbelievably, it is comfortable and well balanced, and it’s a breeze to use. I can’t highly recommend this SDS Drill and well priced. Thanks Anthony
Doesn’t come with any attachments, this would have been good to know before purchasing maybe on the description online. From the pics on the box it looked like they were included. Being in lockdown and already having to wait days for the click and collect to be ready to then get home and find no attachments was very frustrating.
I had bought this for my sons birthday - he needed it for his job and as it is an expensive item I was happy to buy. The process of purchase was quick and easy. I believe my son was very happy with it for the three weeks he had it before it was stolen along with other work tools.
great little machine, cuts through concrete easily, cant say about brick havent tried. Feels solid, and easy to use. Only thing is i dont know how good the drilling distance stopping guage works, i feel like it isnt stuck in place and could move a little easier than it should. Other than that no complaints.
The power is amazing and a great drill for all materials. The weight and balance are perfect. noise is very low for a rotary hammer. a great drill overall. the only thing was the selector switch on the side can be very tough at first and can jam. you have to hit the trigger to switch it sometimes but otherwise great drill overall.
