It will not start up my mower every time I need it to like my original batteries. You press the centre button and try to start and it tries to turn over the motor then it gives a few rotations then after about ten tries if you are lucky it starts up properly and you can mow. Fitting one of my older batteries the mower starts first time every time.

These are amazeballs. My data is skewed as i'm judging it by feel, but i'm probably getting 5 tanks worth to a battery (down @ 25%). I don't like using the battery much after 50% when brush cutting as it stalls easily when hitting thicker grass eg couch mounds or the odd invisible rock. The chainsaw is fine at 25% for basic cookie cutting, need it full for milling applications.. Hardest adjustment is judging chain sharpening routine, as i'm not stopping to fill up with fuel.I have 3 batteries and 4 port charger plenty of punch for afternoons smash.Also had the batteries recalled with new ones sent out first _ awesome service.

This 8Ah battery brings all my older AEG 58V gear to a new level of output with the amount of power it has (but won't run in the original 58V mower which will only run with 4Ah batteries).Although the weight increases over the 4Ah it is understandable with its capacity.
2 YEARS OF WAITING... REALLY WORTH IT. I WONDER HOW LONG WILL LAST THE HANDLE UNDER THE TROPICAL WEATHER. MIGHT NEED SPARE PART REPLACEMENT
I have two 58v batteries for my lawnmower.After 18 months one last 3 minutes and the other now last 5 minutes “fully charged ”.Replacement batteries coast as much as a complete mower with 2 batteries and charger of other brands. Whilst nit the same “name” they seem to last much longer with reasonable coat for replacements if required.

Love the handle , so easy to carry in its own built in protection case and very convenient battery level checking any time in use or charging. Battery can last longer when mowing by not cutting too low , the front of mower will dig in if height needs to be raised. I found two batteries sufficient to finish two backyards with sloping lawns and very thick cushion -like grass on medium size back and front in a 2 hours slot with 1 to 2 bars left . Very wet thick long up to top of my ankles used more power but this was expected when I took out the first time.
Great battery but stopped working after 12 months and 2 weeks, being 2 weeks after warranty period of 1-year as I missed registering battery within 30 days of purchase.Overall, performance, duration and charge of battery was great. Much better than previous models. It was quite a bit more expensive than base model, so gutted stopped working outside warranty period and when I spoke to AEG they would not even consider it or look at it for repair. Has me considering changing back to petrol powered tools as this is my 5th battery.
same physical size as the 4 aHr but vastly inproved runtime. used in 21" mower snd backpack blower turns the priducts into real petrol equivalent machines. mych Much easier to insert and remove than older batteries
