We have only had the oven for a couple of months but in most respects we are very happy with it. The oven seems well build and quiet in operation. The heat seems evenly distributed and controllable. The heating up and cooling down is very easy to monitor with the gauge showing the temperature. The main problem is that the digital control buttons are not illuminated, so they are very hard to read especially in low light. We initially thought this might be a defect and contacted AEG, but they confirmed that the buttons are not illuminated. So we have had to photocopy the controls from the manual onto a piece of paper and stick this onto the face of the oven so we can be sure we are pressing the right button. Very disappointing!

I wasn't sure what to look for in an oven purchase. Maria from Camberwell Electric was most helpful and gave excellent advise. I love the steam option as well as the self cleaning. Very easy to use, I would recommend to get the patisserie tray as an extra if you love baking pastries.
Great oven and solid build quality. Reaches temperatures fast and particularly like the red bar indicator to show that the oven is reaching the desired set, with a "bell" once reached. Very accurate digital temperature, what is displayed is what it is in the oven, unlike my previous oven.
AEG have the reputation as “best on the market” and we are not disappointed.The ease of use was the main reason I chose this model, with its central dial controlling the easy to read large illuminated display. There are more functions than we will probably ever use but as we are older we needed an oven with controls which are easy to read and use.And it cooks really well too!!
My previous AEG oven was replaced by AEG because the pyrolytic cleaning cycle tripped my power. That was a process from Sept 2021 -March 2022. They replaced the oven which had dials to a newer model with sensor buttons. The only button I can press with success is the on to off sensor button. Waiting on a response from AEG. Can’t use it if I can’t select any functions.
Our new oven is everything we hoped it would be and the customer service has been faultless. We were so impressed by this oven that my daughter bout the same one too.

The features are unbelievable, so easy to use, and my new friend the heat sensor. The oven itself if a work of art. I was almost reluctant to spoil its beauty by actually using it. However, we hadn't had a roast in the longest time, so lamb it was and it was a whopper 2.4kg to be exact. Using the turbo grill function I used steam for cooking for the first time. With the cooking sensor, it delivered the crispest, most succulent, best roast lamb I have ever had. I cooked the lamb first, and while it was resting did the vegetables. I also made pavlova, perfect. This oven heats up very quickly, in five you are ready to go. If you are in the market for a new oven, you cannot ignore this baby. 6 year warranty a bonus too.
Love my new oven. Looks quite stylish in my new kitchen. I never thought I would own such a luxurious oven. I used to think that an oven was just an oven. But I am so impressed with everything the AEG oven can do - and I've only had it for 2 days. I'm actually looking forward to planning and cooking meals.
