I bought this planer recently and was disappointed to see there was no shavings collector bag included. Looking to the manual to purchase the bag, I found no part number for the bag, just the note that it had to be purchased separately. Checking AEG web Site, I could not find the specific bag for this model, but I did find a bag for the AEG PL750. I purchased this bag expecting it to fit this model. To my disappointment, the PL750 bag did not fit the PL700. I'm very happy with this planer. Depth of cut is easy to adjust and it's light and easy to use.

Great product, sturdy build especially like the kick stand on the back and the swarf shoot can be moved to either side
I bought this about a month ago with a need to fix a bad saw cut on a merbau bench top. Was simple to use straight out of the box, and planed very hard timber with ease. (I should point out I am an amateur home renovator).As another reviewer mentioned, I was disappointed there was no dust bag, though it worked well enough hooked up to my shop vac.
Needed a planer for some small project and it’s unbelievable, high quality tool
This planer works well and the extra warranty that brings it up to a total of 6 years is a good safeguard. I have already been impressed by the ability to flick the shaving eject chute to the opposite side that works really well.
a great little tool. well balanced and easy to operate with good results for the home renovator. Most of my tools are AEG and I find them to be good value and performance for the serious home renovator or handyman.
