I bought this product a month or so ago because I needed fasten kitchen cabinets to and old concrete slab and lift a few floor tiles. Drilling an old concrete slab was too much for the hammer drill which really wasn't designed for heavy duty concrete drilling. Enter the AEG 18v Fusion SDS+ Rotary Hammer Drill...it drills into concrete like it was butter; and the "jack hammer" feature was absolutely brilliant for lifting those tiles off the floor. A great product: made my job quicker and easier!

Great piece of kit. Very happy with the power of this drill it’s a replacement for a $1000 corded drill ( not an AEG) I have used AEG cordless tools for 15 years and I’m still using the original 2 first tools I bought which are still going as good as new. They are used every day. Can’t stop them.

Hammer mechanism almost non-existent. The manual contains no written instructions other than read the manual. The drill fell apart the second time I used it. Now I have a 10 day wait (minimum) to see if it is covered by warranty on return. I previously owned a Makita hammer drill for almost 20 years. Lesson learned.
This is the first time I've used an SDS drill to drill into brickwork and concrete. For decades I've used my trusty corded AEG hammer drill (so many decades that it was made in West Germany would you believe). My old hammer drill did the job but it took so long to drill a hole and the vibrations made my hands numb. This new SDS+ drill is fantastic! It drilled deep holes into concrete in just a few seconds ... and the anti-vibration design is very effective. I have not used it for chiselling yet but I'm sure it will be very capable.
Been waiting for a job to come along as an excuse to buy this. Did not dissappoint. Used primarily to drill 16mm holes into high strength concrete 100mm deep. Using 4 fluted bit it cut through like hot knife through butter. Has to be paired with fusion battery to be able to handle the power draw the best. I used 9ah and it did 39 holes and still had power to do more. Awesome drill.
18V SDS+ Rotary drill set has extended my ability to work on sites with concrete surfaces. It now is way easier to get the work done faster and easier with long lasting batteries.
I bought my first AEG 18v tool about 8 months ago. I had been using another company for my power tools and thought I would never change. I can honestly say I was blown away by the versatility of these tools, and I now own over 14 different AEG products . I bought the SDS drill a couple of months ago, and what this drill can do is amazing, masonry or timber is no match for this drill, the power and functionality is unbeatable and unbelievably, it is comfortable and well balanced, and it’s a breeze to use. I can’t highly recommend this SDS Drill and well priced. Thanks Anthony
I bought this a few months ago and use it every day. It is very comfortable to use. Outlasts rivals and when I use the 6.0 or 9.0 ah force batteries, the power is awesome.Drills into concrete faster than rivals every time.Free rotating chisel feature is surprisingly great to use as it seems to follow the path of least resistance and really helps to chip away a more consistent face.
What a great hammer drill. Just bought this unit about a day ago and started to drill into brick to put a clothes line up with ease. Little to no residence for this drill it was infact to easy where some drills would labor over time. Had a kango drill bit on which i would recommend to. Looking forward to smashing out more work in the future for the beast.
