Beautifully Made Everyday Sling

This sling awesome is XPac! The stowaway strap comes in handy when packing the sling while not using it. The size and style is near perfect in my opinion. The structure the XPac fabric provides allows for the sling to stay standing when placing it on a table which I enjoy. The only major gripe I have is that when placing the sling on chest instead of back, its nearly impossible to keep in place while walking, I found that it must be place on back most of the time. Resolving this issue in the next edition would be appreciated.

The City sling 2 has accompanied me for over 2 years now and has been nothing but great. I love how variable it is, it doesn't look out of place when only packed with phone, wallet and keys and still keeps a low profile even when I stretch the bag to its limits by taking my 0,5 liter water bottle with me. I found the key strap to be a bit too short to be practical, so I almost always have to detach it or bend down very uncomfortably to reach a lock. The durability is very pleasing as the bag shows almost no signs of use after all I have put it through.I'll provide an example of what I can fit in when I use the full capacity, please note that the bag becomes a bit more uncomfortable in this state and you don't necessarily have quick access to everything. I ordered the day sling for my wife and city sling 2 for my self for an upcoming trip we are doing from the US to Spain. I purchased both in the X-Pack material and so glad we did, the material looks great, feel even better and nothing sticks to it so it stays clean and new looking. We both loved everyone about both slings and felt we made right choice after comparing so many! We love the orange contrasting interior color, makes it so much easier to see your contents inside. Both slings offer plenty of storage and compartments for everything we want to carry yet keep it light enough such as sun glasses, phone, wallet, passport, hand wipes, Patagonia Houdini rain jacket shell, and a few more misc., items with plenty more room to use. We didn't want to carry backpacks for day fun in and out of the citifies or trains and move around light from our hotel to day trips around town. We all have our own requirements but for what we were looking for these are perfect. To Fidlock or Not!! haha The Fidlock is very secure, I tested it in many ways, I tried to pull it off my wife while she wore it cross body and its very secure, no worries there unlike like the Alpaka version Fidlock which came off if one tugged on it to hard. Side note both slings could also fit a small camera in addition to the items we listed above with no issues in addition electronic items, cables, back up cell phone charger etc.. We look forward to using both slings soon on our trip and putting them through the paces but for now we felt we made the right choice and most definitely the X-Pac Material is the way to go, very sleek looking!

Great bag to travel with or everyday use.
5 November 2023

I was looking for a small bag to carry with me throughout the day. Nothing too big like a backpack and not too small like a fanny back. So I decided to check out the City Sling 2. I did a lot reviewing with other brands, but I always came back to this bag. 1) I previously bought the Aer Flight bag and love it. 2) it matches my Aer Flight bag so the material is great. Zippers are top notch and compartments are nice. 3) I wanted it to fit all my necessary items. Not water bottles and the like, just my wallet, passport, phones, charger, compact rain jacket and anything small I bought along the way. I used on a trip to Taiwan and it worked perfectly. They liked the way it would buckle and how "stealthy" it looked. When I don't travel I mainly use it when out in the city.

Great for Theme parks.
25 July 2023

I got this sling for basically trips to Disney World. My kid is older now, so we ditched the stroller, which was a great place to leave all our stuff. Backpacks are too bulky and a full day in the park, requires a few more items then I can comfortably carry in my cargo shorts. It works great to hold several small emergency ponchos, or even 3 compact umbrellas, usb battery packs, phones, and some sunscreen without being too much of a burden. Also we’d throw in some antacids, cough drops, chapstick, and a very small towel as well. The stuff you need to survive a long day with possible rainstorms and eating food you shouldn’t.Once again it’s the perfect size for carrying our park essentials and not being in the way. My new EDC daily driver!
10 September 2023

Wonderful sling pack! This has become my edc daily driver. Holds my knife, wallet, external battery, keys, tissues, snax for the kiddo, an emergency diaper, sun screen, chapstick, and leatherman. Perfect for when you have a little too much bulk in your pockets. I also dig the contrasting orange internal color as the contrast makes it easier to find items. Go with the Xpac if you are looking for better weatherproofing and lighter material. I am not as worried about abrasion resistance so its exactly what I need!

Perfect for travel - so versatile!
25 August 2023

Purchased for travel to a hot & humid climate where it's just muggy to use a backpack... Perfect size for the daily outings - everything in the pocket and more. Love all the compartments - easy to organize and X-Pac makes it easy to find everything. Internal zippered pockets are perfect for passport & money. Tucked the straps in and used it as a "tech pouch" in my backpack for the travel days - perfect dual usage! Added a small carabiner for travel umbrella and didn't event feel the weight. 10/10

The City Sling 2 is, hands down, my favorite bag.
6 August 2023

I have two City Sling bags, if that tells you anything it should say "that bag must be friggin nice." I had the first version, which was sadly promptly stolen out of a rental car in LA. This led me to buy the new City Sling 2. Almost a blessing in disguise because it is a huge upgrade over the City Sling enough that my buddy who got me into Aer bags and the City Sling wants to get the new bag. I love the magnetic locking mechanism and the material feels beefier than the first version, while still looking slim and professional. Also, the locking straps seem to stay tight, which the first version didn't do so well...overall the best upgrade ever and thank you stupid criminal for stealing my first one so I could buy this new one! It's my every day carry 100%!

This new buckle is KILLER!
29 October 2023

This is a pretty great, little bag but there's one little detail that has stood out to me in one week of wearing it. The new fidlock buckle is very sharp and will scratch you. If you wear this in warmer weather (specifically while wearing a tank top) and you move this bag from your front to your back (and vice versa) the inside corners of the buckle will scratch your shoulders pretty bad. They are SHARP! Seriously, feel them. If you haven't worn this bag in a tank top then you may never notice. It's the inside corners of the buckle that are against your body while wearing it. If you touch those corners you'll realize how they could do some damage if dragged across your skin. I'll probably just sand mine down. This sling bag is amazing! It's made of durable materials and has plenty of pockets for organization. I love that it's comfortable to wear and can fit everything I need for a day trip. I highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a stylish and functional sling bag. It's comfortable to wear, even when it's full of stuff. If you're looking for a new sling bag, I highly recommend the City Sling 2 X-Pac. It's a great all-around bag that's perfect for everyday use.
