I purchased this bundle after some deliberation as I'm purely an expresso coffee drinker. I thought I would give it a go as I haven't had coffee like this for over 30 years. I don't drink instant coffee at all.The overall presentation of the units was very good and the functionality was pretty good. The only issues I had when using it was the length of time it took to grind the spoonful of beans and it I wasn't careful the bottom cup of the grinder would pinch my fingers. Might have to connect up the cordless drill to grind it instead of winding the lever round and around!The rest of the process to plunge the coffee and then expel the grounds and paper filter was easy. It's such a simple concept and yet it makes great coffee, it's fast too, but the selling point for me was how quick it is to clean. No faffing around cleaning mesh and filters, just press the coffee, unscrew the cap and press out the "puck" into your food waste, quick rinse and it's clean. The reviews for this are not overrated. For an occasional coffee drinker like myself this is brilliant. Takes up little room in cupboard and makes an amazing coffee. Rave coffee is equally delicious and so smooth. Not bitter. I actually need less sugar in my lattes as a result. Win win

Great Aeropress, but not a fan of the RAVE CoffeeThe Aeropress Gift Set is fantastic and makes a delicious cup of coffee once I switched to Lavazza beans. It’s easy to use and consistently brews a great coffee. However, I found the RAVE coffee included in the set to be disappointing. It had an astringent taste that, while drinkable, wasn’t enjoyable for me. I’d recommend the Aeropress but suggest trying it with a coffee you already love.
Signature coffee blend was very nice. I prefer more acidic coffee, however this blend was nicely balanced with rich body and very nice chocolatey and nutty notes.Aeropress, on the other hand, turned out to be slightly disappointing… First time I took it to work, a piece of flange at the bottom of the chamber broke off. Was in a bag with my laptops, etc. so wasn’t being tossed around or anything.At this price point, I thought I’d be more sturdy, unless mine was defective?
The signature blend is really really good, I’m just getting back into filter coffee and this makes a lovely filter ground fresh for an AeroPress. Recommended to a family member and they bought some pre ground for AeroPress and that was good too, but whole bean and a good grinder always takes it. AeroPress is such an awesome brewer and I’d totally recommend the base model brewer, whether this base one or a coloured one or clear they brew the same coffee so save the £ and get the base one. Postage was super fast too, love the quality of the coffee bag too, how well it reseals. Definitely makes the difference when you are using this as your work brew and wouldn’t take airtight storage containers in a work bag.

You’ll notice that the gap where coffee comes out is not equally aligned.
