Looked good, fitment was a little ordinary, needs a thicker seal. Worst of all was the amplifier part of it didnt really work. Got very poor reception. I doubt the amplifier even worked.
Bought this shark fin antenna, needed to remove my long Navara as my stand up paddle board was too long, find is rubbish, do not buy one.
Antenna wire was flimsy pulled straight out of the socket reception just as bad as the antenna I replaced

bought this to put on an old corolla as the rubber base had perished on the original - didnt expect much for the money and that is what you get - crap.cable is poor quality and very fine - fitted easily but the reception was very poor - no point in trying to take it back as you have to cut the packaging off - dont buy this !!!
Bought one of these to replace an OEM on my VW Tiguan.Unfortunately the plug is a ‘standard Australian’ fitting.Totally different to the VW / Audi plug.Aerpro does not have an in-between ‘converter’.
This works well. As a Electrica Engineer I made some observations about correct installation. 1. You must power it up with 12 volts. 2. The antenna shield is the earth return for the power. Should be, thats required to get such shields work best .. (and at one end only, ie the radio end in this case. 3. the supplied extension cable has a dodgy socket. This is a push together device with possibly poor soldering at the center conductor. If you have trouble with no reception, maybe it needs to be reassembled correctly. Because its push together, you can dissassemble it by sending as screw driver up its rear.. A spacer pops out. Then check the centre conductor is well connected to its centre contact plate.
