The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low gain antenna, making it ideal for medium range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns and low density woodlands. The antenna features a black solid fibreglass whip mounted to a black elevated feed base which is fitted with a black stainless steel spring. It's perfect for installing on all vehicles, including those that are prone to vibration such as trucks, agricultural machinery and off-road 4WDs. The antenna is ground independent which means it can be mounted virtually anywhere on the vehicle while maintaining a stable radiation pattern.
