Beautiful shampoo. I have just moved on from mt christopher robin shampoo and this is really lovely. Good lather. Not too scented. Sometimes aesop cleansers/soaps can be quite string but this doesnt linger in the hair the same way it does in the hair. Not to drying either.

I really love this shampoo and conditioner. It’s smells absolutely beautiful and makes showering a spa like experience. I agree with one of the reviews about how hair feels a little straw like after finding shampoo but once conditioner is used it’s super soft ft and silky. Hair looks shinier than ever and best of all doesn’t make my hair static which I get with some products! Also the aesthetic is spot on, look great in my bathroom.
I’m a huge AESOP fan and love that they have brought out the shampoo and conditioner in these large sizes. I adore the smell of all AESOP products and this shampoo and conditioner is no exception. The bottles will last me a while and I love the pump action dispenser, makes them so easy to use. They look great in my shower and I can’t wait to start using these and smelling of AESOP all day long!
I purchased this shampoo as I needed a sulphate free one that would be ok to use whilst wearing tape extensions. I also suffer from an allergy to certain preservatives found in most shampoos- this had neither so I thought I’d give it a try. Whilst it’s a really nice product and smells lovely, I can’t say my hair is the best after using it. It sort of feels like a bit of a residue is left and my hair feels a bit straw like after. I’ve only used it 3 times so far so maybe my hair needs to adjust to it or I need to rinse it out a bit more. Either way, I shall persevere and see where it goes. I’m not writing it off yet- I can’t afford to as it was too expensive!
It smells of fresh clean herbs. The fragrance of this shampoo really makes me enjoy the shower so much more. It does a great job lathering the hair well to thoroughly cleanse the hair and scalp. One of the best shampoo. Would love to recommend it to everyone!!
This is probably one of the worst shampoos I've ever used. It makes my soft fine hair feel dry and the level of limpness is so strange. it's like limp but clings to my scalp. While it didn't necessarily strip my color-treated hair, it just left it feeling unnourished if that makes sense. I even used Oribe Golden Lust Oil after (which is a great oil!) and my hair just went super flat. You know that feeling when you can't get your hair to lay right. That's what this feels like after every wash!
I have the travel size of this shampoo and I do not care for it. The scent is lovely, as with all Aesop products, which I do enjoy using in the shower. However, for my long hair and use of dry shampoo in between washes, it just doesn’t cut it. I feel like I need a lot of shampoo to clean my hair so I go through the product quite quickly. Still, after using all that product, my hair doesn’t feel as clean as it would with other shampoos. Would not buy the full size bottle.
I've been using Aesop's hand gel and loved it so decided to try out the shampoo. I don't have dry hair or scalp and my hair is quite healthy but I found it very hard to run my fingers in my hair while rinsing out.My hair was all tangled together and it was really hard to rinse the shampoo out, and I found myself reaching for the conditioner to untangle. Used the mini bottle up, but won't be buying again.
