This is a great third party Switch Controller. I didn't want to spend 80 bucks for the offical pro controller and to be honest IDC about Amibo support or rumble so losing those wasnt a big deal. In return you get two programmable buttons on the back that can be mapped to anything and I honestly really like this comes in handy for alot of games. The lights are really cool I find myself distracted by it at times though. When the battery gets low it will flash red to let you know. I think thats a really cool feature. IN conclusion though if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the pro controller highly reccomend this.

I've used this controller for about a month now and I'm really enjoying it. I think it's a great substitute for those who don't want to shell over the cash for a pro-controller (like me). And it lights up in just about any color you can think of! Why more companies don't do this, I'll never know. It's a really nice feature. My only "complaint" is that the left joystick took a few hours for my thumb to get used to only because it's higher up than the joystick on the Switch blue/red controllers. Because of this, I had trouble when it came to making precise decisions in games that required fast reactions such as Katana Zero. Again, I'm not sure if this is because the controller is a little bulky for my female hands or if I just needed to give it more time to get used ... MoreI've used this controller for about a month now and I'm really enjoying it. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who needs an extra controller. I love the feel of it and think the weight of it feels great in your hands. It doesn't feel cheaply made at all.

Surprisingly affordable, well built, and corded. Playing games like ACNH, Super Mario 3D World, or Pokemon for extended periods of time with a Pro controller can really take a toll on your wrists. This PDP controller helps mitigate wear and tear (avoid drift/damage) on my procons when playing anything other than Splatoon with motion controls. ('cause procons are expensive.) Pros: • Has RGBs with modes, lets users pick from a wide spectrum of colors • The two mappable buttons under the unit can come in handy, especially when playing an RPG • D-Pad is solid and very responsive, the same can be said for L3/R3. Better than a procon's in my opinion. • Though some probably won't use it, the included headphone jack is nice to have. • Joysticks are raised a bit which ... MoreSurprisingly affordable, well built, and corded. Difference is shown next to a stock procon (might appeal to avid Paladins, Warframe, Fortnite, or Apex players) • Those who use their Switch for media consumption (YouTube, Crunchyroll, etc) or "AAA Clock" (for the select few who use their tv like an oversized clock?) wont have to worry about a dying controller battery while watching movies, having a binge session, or idling about. • Solid build, controller has no gaps between the shell and doesnt creak when gripped tightly. Can definitely handle a light impact or fall - With a price falling in the low/mid $20 range, packing more features than a PowerA controller of the same price. You really can't go wrong with this Afterglow unit. Cons: • Lacks haptic feedback. (no vibration) • Has no motion controls or NFC support (to be expected) • The handles are a few millimeters shorter than a procon. Might feel odd at first to users with medium/large hands. Difference is shown next to a stock procon • A/B/X/Y buttons can get to being a bit loud when playing fast paced titles like Brawlhalla, SSBU, or Ninjala Placement of the Home/Screencap/ /- buttons can be a bit confusing to those who are already used to Nintendo's Pro controller layout

This Afterglow Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller is so fun! It's easy to plug in and feels comfortable in your hands while playing. The lighting feature is so fun because you can customize it how you choose. You can set it to your favorite color, have your set color fade in and out, cycle through several colors, or "react to the movement of the sticks". Programming the lights was a little tricky at first, but once I understood how, it's been easy to use and change. My kids also enjoy the audio option for those days where the noise is too much for everyone else around them! Overall, we're very happy with this controller.
Using exclusively for Z:BOTW. After years of using the joycons, I initially loved this controller! Took a while to get used to the geography changing, but after a few hours everything felt better. I didn’t particularly care for the LEDs (I’ve turned them off) - I was drawn to the transparency for something different. The shoulder controllers are a fantastic bonus and I use them constantly. It took a while for me to notice, but after I did, I missed not having a vibrating controller. It definitely helps with some areas of gameplay when I’m playing on low volume. What has let it down, is after only about 10 hours of gameplay, the right control stick is exhibiting ‘joycon shift’ problems. I’ll be returning it today. Might try my luck with a replacement, otherwise I’ll ... MoreUsing exclusively for Z:BOTW. After years of using the joycons, I initially loved this controller! We purchased two of these controllers for our sons for Christmas so that they could play games like Gang Beasts and Super Smash Bros. with four players and full controls (we already own two Joy-Con sets). I was a little worried they'd miss the rumble effect, but none of them has even noticed that the controls don't support it. They love the LEDs, which are programmable in a bunch of different ways, and will grab these controllers over the regular Joy-Cons. One thing to note is that there are two paddle-like buttons on the back that are integrated into the battery cover and can get pressed accidentally if you grip the controller too hard in the middle of a heated battle. I think they map to the 'A' and 'X' button. Overall, we were impressed with the quality and responsiveness of this controller and would recommend it to friends.
Great controller. Lights are a nice touch but you can turn off if it becomes a distraction and to save some battery life. Fits nice and comfortably in your hands. Works with the original switch and OLED Model. The one con that I don’t like is the way they designed the USB port on the controller. It almost like has a notch when you go to plug in the controller. Very minor. Doesn’t hinder the performance or anything. Just a little annoying that’s all.
This controller fits perfectly in your hand and feels very comfortable for long periods of time. The multitude of ways that you can configure the lighting of the controller makes it endlessly customizable. Having the earbud adapter port on the rear of the controller makes it very convenient to plug in your ear phones while playing. The cord stretches a significant amount of length to allow you to play your game 10 to 12 feet away it feels. The clear plastic allows the colors to really pop when your playing. I love this controller and have nothing bad to say about it.
Too many issues with this controller. -Immediate drift on left joystick -Does not rumble! -Poor latency -why is the charge port not USB C?? -Battery is a not removable and lithium polymer requiring closer attention to how it's stored and charged. (although the couple days I've had this so far has seemed just fine) Buttons are sloppy but effective This controller is beautiful when it is working properly- after disassembly of the controller I discovered erratic resistance readings in the left joystick 10kohm pot.. this seems to be the issue for the past 2 years of existence and still hasn't been addressed. the joysticks will need to be de-soldered and a higher quality 10k pot joystick installed. unfortunately even after fixing the joystick quality issue there will be ... MoreToo many issues with this controller. -Immediate drift on left joystick -Does not rumble! -Poor latency -why is the charge port not USB C?? -Battery is a not removable and lithium polymer requiring closer attention to how it's stored and charged. Within 24 hours of purchase there was drift in the right joystick. It’s now been 6 days since I bought this controller and it is unusable. This is NOT worth your money. Horrible, horrible controller and customer service for the warranty to have it repaired does not get back to you. Good reviews are from people who got lucky. Quality control is nonexistent. Do not buy this controller, I promise you will regret it. I can’t afford another controller right now and I cannot play my switch anymore.
