Great Helmet

Love this helmet. By far the best I have owned and in my 30 years of riding I have had a few. It is comfortable. Looks sharp. It is quiet. Very light. The visor had can be locked in place, but it has the capability of being left cracked a bit which I like to do. The only issue I have found and its not a game breaker is that once the visor is locked it is a little tricky to get it unlocked with a gloved hand and something I have absolutely given up on while moving. Actually this might be a design feature for safety....no sure. At any rate a fantastic helmet well worth the price...kudos to AGV.

Great Helmet made with Cheap Materials

Pros: Attractive Helmet, Extremely Lightweight, Quietest Helmet I've owned. Fits comfortably overall and comes with a pinlock visor which was a nice touch.Cons: Expensive, and made from cheap thin plastics. The visor mechanism broke within 15 miles of riding, and a replacement isn't available from AGV (but ones for the K3 and the Pista are...?). One of the top vents arrived broken, which is no surprise given how thin the plastic is. Airflow is average at best, even with the vents open, hot day riding requires the visor to be cracked. the K3 flows better.Based on the above, I returned this helmet. Great fit and function for the price
23 September 2020

I like the fit of this AGV K-6 helmet. I used to wear Arai and always felt there was a compromise in how it fit since my head is a little more narrow than the typical intermediate oval. The helmet feels light. The liner comes out easily for install of coms hardware. I have a Sena50 and it installed very easily. Much more so than the same kit I installed in my wife's Shoei RF-1200.The shield is clunky to unlatch when you have it all the way closed. I have to jamb my thumb into the button and push up with my middle finger. It is not a smooth or seamless action. This mechanism could be improved. The chin vent rattles when it is open. I thought there was something loose on my windscreen at first but then realized the buzzing sound was coming from inside the helmet. ... MoreI like the fit of this AGV K-6 helmet. I did not feel too hot in this helmet riding in Ohio summer heat. I have about 500 miles in this helmet and it has broken in nicely. It is not the quietest helmet I have worn. Even with all vents closed and the the shield latched, there is significant wind noise. Listening to music or talking on the phone is difficult above 50 mph on my bike with no windscreen. The mechanism for detaching the shield is well designed and easy to operate. Makes cleaning and pin lock lens install a breeze. For the cost I think this is a great helmet.

Great helmet
6 July 2020

Very light and solid, well made. I had an HJC helmet prior and it was Lg but in the K6 I ordered MS and it seemed tight but broke in perfect after 200miles. Only complaint is jaw area is tight so now I’m have a little issue with the lower padding unsnapping when I pull the helmet off. Just installed the agv ark Bluetooth fits nice but haven’t used it yet. Also installed light smoke visor so don’t have to change it at night works well. So far would buy again but have only owned it for a short time.

Great helmet
18 July 2023

I've been wearing motorcycle helmets for over 50 years and this helmet is the most comfortable one of them all. It's light and the vision is great. The only thing I didn't like was the red strap on the retention strap so I removed it. Other than that it's the best helmet I've ever used. I now have about 7000 miles of use with it.

Light, comfy and good looking!
17 May 2023

Super light and really good looking. Shield is very solid on every click and the lock-vent setting is suburb no movement. Great paint finish, and very comfortable. Vents are OK, could use larger ones on the hottest of days but good for the majority of rides. Can't speak to the protection level but it's DOT rated and that's all I need to know, hope I never have to find out?. . Great helmet overall.

Lightest Helmet Ever
26 February 2020

Nardo Grey - Medium Small (57-58)Purchased this helmet couple weeks ago at the Dainese store. Noticed there weren't many reviews on the helmet so I figured I'd write it here.My first impression on the helmet is that it is incredibly light. I weighed the helmet myself and it came out to roughly about 2.9 lbs without any sena or gopro attached. The bell qualifier that I had before weighed roughly about 3.7lbs! Riding with this helmet feels like it's not even there. Also, the design of the helmet prevents your collar bone from getting in contact with the base of the helmet and this actually allows me to move my head a lot more. You can tilt your head left and right with no contact. Now, I don't know how this would do in a crash setting due to its lightness but ... MoreNardo Grey - Medium Small (57-58)Purchased this helmet couple weeks ago at the Dainese store. Riding with this helmet feels like it's not even there. Also, the design of the helmet prevents your collar bone from getting in contact with the base of the helmet and this actually allows me to move my head a lot more. You can tilt your head left and right with no contact. Now, I don't know how this would do in a crash setting due to its lightness but AGV is known to do MORE than the minimum standard for DOT so I think it'll do fine. Now lets talk about that latch. Before I dive any further, just know that there is a small screw you can unscrew and adjust the positioning of the latch if you can't seem to get it to sit properly or even close. Now, the latch is something that was new to me. I've never had a helmet that required to press something but with practice and use it becomes easier. However, it can be a little annoying if you are like me and need to open the visor a lot (I wear glasses so it fogs up a little inside). The latch is nice since it's actually a safety feature meant to keep the visor in place so knowing that it makes it better that it's there. The visor locks into place when it is fully pressed and when you press it once it opens into "city riding" this is what my helmet visor is usually in.For airflow, the vents looks a little small but I haven't noticed if this has really affected me since I've only had it during the colder season. HOWEVER, once you open that visor all the way up, it's like a blast of air hitting your face. Let me remind you I wear glasses and my eyes were getting so watery(speeds faster than 45). So don't plan on leaving your visor open if you are going faster than city limits! Other than that, it's not really a complaint because for others it might be a good thing with all the air flow.Communication device??I use the sena 20s and it fits! I use the clamp method but one thing to note is that you need to use more of the rubber adhesive spacer for it to properly clamp. There are speaker cut outs that fit the normal speakers too.Now the field of vision is incredible! Nothing else to describe it.Noise... I have to say it's quieter than my bell but I have always worn earplugs. Now if you don't wear ear plugs, you should go get some!!!Now the final thing to address... is it comfortable?I had the K3 S-V medium small and I have to tell you that was the most uncomfortable helmet to put on and off. It actually messed up my ear (boxers ear) since it was tugging and pulling it a bunch. Now with the K6, the shape of the helmet is a true intermediate-oval. After it's broken in, putting it on and off is a breeze. How about while wearing it? The best way I can describe it is that it feels like its part of my head.Being that the K6 was a new helmet, I was hesitant on purchasing it but I have to say I have no regrets! This is perfect for someone who is like me and needed an upgrade from their old cheap helmet.Hope this help y'all!

Nice Suprise
8 September 2020

The first thing I noticed was how light it was. It took some getting used to. I do have to unfold my ears once the helmet is on. Snug but not tight. Airflow is good. I have an adjustable windscreen and with it all the way up the K6 is quiet. The pinlock was a surprise. Works very well. Off the shelf sunglasses go in very easy. Any pair of glasses with a thick temple is not going to work.I wear a 2XL. Great helmet. Fast shipping.

This helmet is awesome, and so light!
8 January 2021

The first thing I noticed when I got this helmet, is how extremely light it is. That is my favorite feature. The next thing I love about it is how comfortable it is. Another great feature is the quick-release mechanism for swapping shields. Plus, this is the first helmet I ever had that makes use of a Pinlock Anti-Fog lens insert, (which AGV includes in the box). The Pinlock insert has been a game changer when riding in cooler weather. There is simply no fog on the lens, even when stopped at a red light in the winter. I could hardly believe my eyes! This helmet has everything I was looking for and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
