This is our first pool vac. The temperatures here in central Iowa have not been exactly conducive to using our unheated above ground pool. I am also out on medical leave, Leaving my husband to do all maintenance outside the house.He has been extremely pleased with the speed, suction power, and ease of use of this machine.Although the specs state it does not pick up large debris, it has picked up leaves. The filter also catches fine debris. It does an excellent job at vacuum cleaning, which is extremely helpful and saves time.

I like this item for my large above ground pool but it fills up quickly with even small debris. Must be emptied frequently even if pool doesn’t look dirty. So it does its job. The toughest part is getting it out of the pool without getting in. As it moves the pool can get bubbly or foggy. So then it is difficult to see it at the bottom to remove it and you need a specialized hook on a pole to help with that. But a hook is t good for an above ground pool as it can easily poke a hole in it. I recommend this item, but do yourself a favor and get a pole or hook or something to pull it out to empty. Which can be often. Or send the kids on the pool to grab it if you’ve got them! Quality item.

Love how easy this is to use. Only complaint is that it doesn't cover the whole pool. I have a 20x12 oval above ground pool that is very flat. I have a lot of dirt on the bottom from the horrible haboob that came through and after running the vacuum, I could tell it only got about 2/3 of the pool bottom. I also feel that it doesn't pick up a lot of the dirt or it makes its way thought the mesh and back into the pool. I have been cleaning it for weeks now and still struggling to get the fine arizona desert dirt out of the bottom. For larger stuff like leaves it does amazing.

Got the green stuff off pool floor. My pool is under a tree , half way, pollen sunk to the bottom and this vaccun aucks it right up. Easy to use and charges fast. I have wrinkles on the bottom and it never gets stuck. Backs up to the pool wall when needs charging. I suggest scooping it out with a skimmer / leaf net so the debri does not leak back out into the water when fishing it out of pool.It would be better if it had a healthy lol just for entertainment. So overall the little guy works pretty gd for my above ground pool. I had a lot of nasty algae on the bottom and it does a gd job of sucking it up. Also sucks up the debris from the pine tree right next to the pool. Although other people said it didn’t go over wrinkles or got stuck with the wrinkles in the liner on the bottom of the pool, I’ve had no problem with mine, and my liner is nothing but wrinkles on the bottom so don’t rule it out because of that. Mine works great with them. Horrible product!!! This is the second AIPER pool vac I've purchased, but a different model each time. Both never worked and had to be returned! I don't know if is because I am ordering them online and they are somehow being damaged during shipping or what the issue is. But it's insane to me that I have purchased two and neither have worked from straight out of the box. And there is even a huge sticker on the plastic bag over the vacuum when you taken it out of the box, that says you may find water droplets but it's normal because they test each vacuum before shipping. This brand has great reviews on all every model. But I will never purchase another one. **The instructions for thus model said to chaege fully before use. I was concerned about buying a cordless pool vacuum, but after reviewing the reviews, I am very impressed with this vacuum. I named it Sucker, cause it does the job.After a storm one night, brought diets in the wind and our pool floor-above the ground-, had mounds of diets in the crevices. And it took it all up. I have had it for a few weeks and it hasn’t disappointed me yet.We do have some dips in our pool that it gets stuck, but I help it along and it's been wonderful.Some reviews complain that it stops, well it may be stuck in a deep dip.its been a really good investment.cleans my 22' round by 54" in about 30 mins.
I purchased the Aiper Scuba SE for my inground fibreglass plunge pool- I was uncertain how this robotic pool cleaner would go but I am very surprised- it cleaned the floor of my pool perfectly! If I could upload photos of the amount of debris it collected, I would. I have only used this once so far but I am very satisfied with the price and how effective it was. It saved me so much time and manual labor. I highly recommend this product for a small pool.
It clearly states for use on flat surface BUT this thing can’t make it over any tiny bump wrinkle divot nothing. It did well where it could. I consider our pool pretty flat, especially for an above ground pool but it just gets stuck all over so unfortunately, I will be returning it. I will say if you have a completely flat surface it would work fine. It picks up pretty decently, not fine sand but it will get the course stuff and it picks up leaves and does a good job in that regard, it just gets continuously stuck. I really like the 1 button operation %26 easy to clean.
Did not clean bottom of pool at all because it does not pick up well. Must not have very good suction. The bottom has only 2 small, single layer bristles, one at bottom right, one on bottom left. They are thin and less then 3 inches wide, maybe 2.5 inches. Was hoping to save time. May as well use my little, rechargeable pool vac with handle that I have had for 8 years and didn't pay much for it. It also scratches easily. Wish I could return. Wasted my money.
